You can buy Bitcoins everywhere, but I have not yet heard about a possibility of buying products on Amazon with crypto currencies. Maybe by using some add ons, but not directly. Hope they will implement such a feature in the future.

You need to use a third party application to buy amazon products using bitcoin called, purse.io! However, I have not used their services personally but heard about them. But I will suggest you to read the below link before you begin using Purse services,

Secondly, there are lot of ways to buy bitcoins. I don't know about Robinhood but you can use Coinbase for your crypto purchasing need. Maybe someone else can help you for robinhood. But usually a little Google search will reveal more options specific to your country!

For amazon, I guess one of those crypto credit cards could work ... the ones where you pay in crypto, but they automatically convert to fiat for you. Not sure what the point would be though.

And yeah, you can buy btc through robinhood, if you live in a state where they are set up for that. Not sure about btc, but for other cryptos be aware they don't use proper user-controlled wallets. Meaning you can't withdraw your crypto from them ... not sure if they changed that recently or not. I did a test a while ago with a small amount of doge, just to see how it all worked. Easy to buy doge, but impossible to then get it off of robinhood (can always sell to fiat, but I mean you can't get doge into your own wallet).

I would like to see more competition on the market, so that every cryptocurrency user can buy something on the Internet, not only using Amazon, but on other resources.  I have nothing against Amazon, but I am for healthy competition and for every consumer to have the right to choose.

Interesting article, I just found out if you buy a product with bitcoin you have to use a third party application first. but I am still learning whether this application can be useful later.

Amazon stores have not implement bitcoin or crypto payments in their system yet but its only a matter of time before they have no choice but to implement crypto payment without the use of any thirdparty application like purse.io,ive used the service in the past and it works but i dont just like the third party idea is all

There is no official way to buy goods on Amazon with bitcoin yet but there might be some add-ons that might allow you do that or you can try those crypto debit cards.

Question I have is, why bother trying to use btc to buy goods from amazon? I see no benefit to it. It's an argument I have against using any crypto as a currency -- unless there is a discount from the retailer, I see no point.

Exceptions made for folks in countries with hyper-inflation, so BTC is more stable than their own currency (and seeing BTC is so unstable as it is, that means their currency is kind of useless), or if a stablecoin is used.
