any idea where I can get the USDT on EOS chain ? is there any non decentralized exchange offering deposits and withdrawals ?
newdex volume looks not so good to trade it there so if there is any exchange with higher volume that would be great

1. Bitfinex allows withdrawing USDT(EOS) if you have passed KYC.
2. If you have an EOS account, you can use NewDex Cross Chain Deposit feature. It accepts any version of USDT and allows to withdrawal of USDT(EOS). Detailed description here: https://newdex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041222451-Newdex-Launches-Cross-chain-Deposit-Withdrawal-Function

How will sites like this survive in a world where there will be little to no Sport? Will it still attract enough people if betting is shifted to eGaming or virtual Sports?

I saw some sites introducing virtual Soccer, but it is simply not the same as the real thing and most of these games can be rigged, so I do not see a future for those kinds of betting.

Do you think Sport that can be played online, like Darts for instance, will garner enough support for these sites to survive?

What are the differences/pros/cons between SportBet.one and Degens.com which runs on the ethereum blockchain?

Thanks!

After a slight look, I think that they are betting exchange, not sportsbook. So you need a counterparty for every bet which could be problematic to find.

Also, Etherum blockchain is much slower and has transaction fees. So LIVE betting isn't possible there.

Hello there mate, I am one of the community managers from the Sportbet platform so firstly thank you for being active in here talking about sportbet.

I really liked your question and I did head over and have a look at the website you were talking about and although i am not in a position to say which one is better etc as i have not spent much time on that website you talk about to know what they are doing.

I can talk about one of our recent upgrades that you and others may like:

* Increased live coverage:- If you love sitting back and watching some live sports you can do this with a vast variety of our sports, I myself am hooked on watching the Live Baseball and the streams are great quality as well, there are plans to put more of our sports live in the near future.

Also while you are watching live you can obviously bet live which is also great.

We have recently spent some time upgrading the UI as well, This means that when you use the platform it is extremely easy to use as we wanted to tailor new customers and we find having a nice clean UI is very important.

You mentioned Cons - Although most companies don't like to talk about there "cons" i can tell you that every platform has them and we are very transparent and we are very lucky that our community members are very active and are always sharing opportunities with the team which get escalated asap.

I hope i have helped you a little bit but maybe I can ask you what is it you like about sportbet ? and what are we missing?

Thanks buddy.

Hey there, Thank you for these concerns and questions and you are spot on, I am one of the community managers for sportbet nice to meet you.

So yes we have recently experienced some tough times in the sporting world and I know I have been going crazy not having any live sports on my tv, However, our platform increased the amount of eSports we promoted which did help a lot of us through the tough period as we needed something to keep us smiling Smiley

I agree that real life sporting is needed for the sporting world to continue to move on, In Australia NRL is one of the most popular sports and a lo of the NRL's revenue comes from TV ads etc so if the NRL never returned we would most likely never see that sport return so to answer your question I think we would see a lot of sports fold if they cannot get TV rights.

We have been fortunate that the world epidemic has not lastet a LONG time although it has felt like it and we have started to see sports such as Soccer return and we have been able to add these sports onto our platform for betting, I think we are starting to move forward now and wont be long until we are in full swing again.

thanks for your input mate.

Its been quite few months since I have used the Sportsbet I was betting quite a lot before this pandemic I'm just waiting for my favorite games to return for resume playing but the platform can make use of this opportunity to improve the platform with new updates and I think you guys already did some updates happy to see that.

Yes I'll be expecting for the sports world to resume their activities and sportbet.one will always be my first preference wish to see more improvements as per the road map and increased max bet amount or maximum rewards previously it was capped at 300EOS.

It is always important to not forget about the legends that played in the sports we love to watch and support, So this post is just wishing the great Gale Sayers a Happy Birthday - Pro Football Hall of Fame halfback (Chicago Bears, 4 x Pro Bowl), born in Wichita, Kansas.

We can't wait for the NFL season to kick off again!!

We can't wait for the NFL season to kick off again!!

Same here. Really looking forward to the NFL season but I'm afraid there's still a high chance that it won't happen this year. NFLPA director DeMaurice Smith isn't so sure that we're going to see the NFL in 2020. Well, we can say that the outcome of their decision regarding its continuation will depend on the other leagues (if NBA and MLB will proceed without any problem).

Could it be he don't want to press hard on the positive end of the scale. Like him no one know What is going to happen, soccer has started to come back but if there is a major wave again I know it would be paused again.

WHO and many others are warning of the second big wave than now but several countries look to restart the economy because of other issues like joblessness, hunger etc Its good at least the sports world looking some sunrise after three to four months of halt lets hope this will continue with other sports

100% hear what you are saying here, Well we know that the EPL (soccer) is only weeks away and this is a great sign as I have no doubt this is going to cause a ripple effect. I think we will see MLB follow not long after the EPL and the NFL will stick to their schedule, the only worry we have is the second wave of COVID. Everyone that loves sports needs to do what we are told to do and play our part in social distancing.

The second wave is going to be crucial right, But as much as we LOVE our sports you make a good point that we need to push forward to save lives and families. But getting the sport back on sets a new standard may be showing countries it is ok to slowly get back to normal one step at a time.

It is going to be a strange feeling watching the soccer with no crowd as that is one sport that stands out because of the crowds chanting...
