This is something completely new. I've seen people try to steal ordinary ATMs, but the BTC ATM theft is interesting! Unfortunately, malicious people always come across us.

Thieves have known better about the increasing market for bitcoin. This seems to be the reason for the thieves to have their attention towards bitcoin ATM. Such news will get to be common in the upcoming days when more and more people start using bitcoin into daily needs. Moreover now we've very small number of bitcoin ATMs around the world and very specific regions got bitcoin ATMs.

This is something completely new. I've seen people try to steal ordinary ATMs, but the BTC ATM theft is interesting!

It's the same idea. These guys were probably trying to extract the cash inside the ATM, not private keys to bitcoins. Some of these ATM manufacturers are incredibly dumb about security, but most of them are probably safe from physical compromise due to encryption.

It looks like they cased out the area pretty well. Nobody noticed the ATM was gone for a week:

Interestingly, the two were so discreet that the theft has not been noticed until a week later. At this point, the police had to call Bitcoin ATM operator and owner Coinme to inform about the theft.

This is not new and we have having thieves stealing ATM machine all over the world including the ATM that contains dollars and other currencies. What are they going to do with it? Not as if they will get a dime out of the ATM as everything is digital. What exactly is the purpose of the robbery?

Oh, surely the purpose is to take the cash in there.

Ahh, the power of surveillance cameras. Had it not been for those little eyes we won't be seeing this gem right here. Good thing though the ATM is placed in an area where there is a camera rolling, thus the law enforcement will have better chances on nabbing these guys on the run. With the recent popularity bitcoin has received due to its sudden peak from 2018, it will certainly be a hot target for thieves and nefarious beings, one example is this report. This will not be the end of the many faces of thieving around the bitcoin industry.

Its.possible because Bitcoin gat so much enemies around her, so, we should be ready for everything. Things like stolen of ATM machine have been here in my country and nobody seem to talked about them but when it happened to Bitcoin they will like to use it against the industry and paint it as if it has never happened to fiats before. Banks are been robbed everyday so, nothing too special about that of Bitcoin, Hater's.
