forest fires in amazon has been happening for a long time even before the case about the amazon tribe. although it is suspicious that after the tribe won their case to protect their land a forest fire suddenly emerges. I feel sorry for the affected families and animals that has become a victim of probably a greedy company and a president who favors to make the amazon forest to turn it into farming and mining land.
People will do anything to make money for themselves but they use the term they are doing this for their citizen's betterment.I don't know who is going to fix this but it needs to be fixed soon or the consequences of this fire will last for centuries. after the fire is extinguished the land is still fertile they can still rebuild the forest by replanting but it would take decades to restore to what it was. it is saddening that there are people willing to destroy something so important in the ecosystem in order to gain some money that will mostly benefit them and their greed.

The paradox of rainforest soils Tropical soils are notoriously thin and poor in nutrients. In some parts of the Amazon River Basin, white, sandy soils are found, which have evolved through erosion over hundreds of millions of years. And yet, although these soils have lost their mineral content and fertility, rich rainforests grow on them.

I heard that its still firing so its not time to find who were behind it its time to stop the fire and save the world's oxygen factory where is the place more than 20% of oxygen of this planet were created and also lot of exotic organisms living there so governments need to hold their hands together and need to save the humanity now.
Amazon Fire news has been wrongly hyped and these forests are not the lungs of Earth, many celebrities and news channel have published information without verifying them. Dan Nepstad who’s an leading expert on Amazon Forest has debunked the notion that earths lungs are dying, and he’s also said that balance can be restored. I feel the media is trying to distract us from who started it, but I hope the authorities will catch the culprits soon. However, what is clear is that rampant and irresponsible exploitation of natural resources has had serious and will continue to have serious consequences for all of us. To continue to place profits above caretaking is not sustainable given how large our population is. I'm sure we'll just kick the can down the road and let our kids deal with it, just like our parents and their parents before them have done.

I fear the loss of some unknown species is happening as well.

It is difficult to take a stand, given that the only news we have from mainstream information.

I would imagine it has to do with large deforestation gone wrong. What we can do is pay attention. This was a wake up call and I think we need to be more conscious of our actions whether that is waste, how we eat and how we generally treat the planet.

This is a sad development in Brazil, the Amazon forest is one of the amazing things we have in Brazil, if the fires are being caused by artificial means and not by natural causes then the act is very despicable. We need to speak against this and condemn all those involved in destroying the wonderful forest.

Record fires in Amazon jungle and Brazil president accuses NGOs. The fires have continued to devour large swathes of the Amazon jungle for nearly a week, and Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro renewed his suspicion that non-governmental organizations were behind them, acknowledging he had no proof. Bolsonaro said that although farmers may have started some fires to open pastures, NGOs are still the main suspect. Because they are trying to bring it down. What do you think are the real reasons behind these fires and how to avoid them?
Every year we face fires in Amazon. I wonder what is the cause of that. Amazon is not habitable (only some races live there). I don't think that people of those races cause the fires as they love Amazon as it is their homeland. We need to find better solutions for protecting this Forrest otherwise we will have serious climate problems in the next years.

This is really bad, habitat to thousands of species is gradually depleting. To add, part of the Siberian Taiga has been damaged by wild fire.
