How Often Do you Bet on Politics?

I used to bet on politics back in those days until I lost in a bet typically because of electoral malpractices. My country is one of the worst country that elect leaders based on their wealth or sometimes bases on their influence. Having such a worst political platform will not encouraged gamblers to get involved in the game of betting. There  is no way you will be able to predict my country political elites when it come to politics.

I won’t be asking too much if I ask for the name of your country right? Because it sounds likes one of the African countries I know that are known for the highest rate of corruption. All countries are corrupt but some countries are extremely corrupt and they make life really difficult for their citizens. You can imagine the fear of gambling because of the fear of manipulation.

I don’t gamble on politics because it doesn't occur regularly, and I am not even into politics, definitely going to play on politics gambling is like a deliberate act to go and throw away money. I have only tried gambling on politics once and I didn’t regret losing the money because I knew I would loose of course. The game is for those who are current with political happenings.

well i'm not because i use to believe that politics are a dirty place to live,i have known politicians in my life and at first they are generous and responsive but as time goes by all they care is the Money that offers by constituents in exchange for favors

Very hilarious, Trump is not really as bad as he is been portrayed on the news, You should be grateful for having such great personality for a president. The first time I ever voted on politics was during the time of his election with Hillary Clinton, I never knew he would win the election and my favorite candidate lost it, it was from that moment I vowed never to play games on politics because it is really highly unpredictable.

If I could turn back the hands of time, I would choose trump as my best candidate and I probably won’t have lost my money. Note, please do yourself good, stop wising that my president Trump would be impeached because that will be a wish that would never come to pass.

I went through cloudbet, sportsbet and Onehash. These gambling houses haven't added any of the special events to the list. May be this can get added when it gets close to the days of presidential election. Right now under the special event section Nobel Prize winner prediction was seen in the archived format. I am not aware that it is possible to bet on politics. Normally, what I bet are on e-sports, casinos, and sports but I never encountered anyone about betting about politics but it seems predictable and relatively easier especially if you are aware of the current events.

I would love to have the opportunity to at least try to bet on our politics (in the Philippines) and would like to know if there are anyone interested in such.

Politics are all about connection and news. If you are aware of the current events (or if you have any connections inside!), then this may give you an edge against your opponents. Unlike gambling in casinos, politics heavily rely on data about the people but this is also subject to manipulation caused by the very politicians themselves, which makes it uniquely interesting!

Same like you I think that betting on shady political stuff is a crazy thing to do. Generally I don't like those bets that I need to wait for months to see the results, winner of this competition or that. On favorites odds are so small, to make some nice money you need to place higher bets, to bet on underdogs is crazy. I saw some crazy things, like will a Beckham son get into football and play for national team? I don't remember the odds for that, there are even crazier things to bet on. I like to see odds, but I never placed a bet on this kind of betting, its not for me.

As long as people can make odds there is always a form of gambling. But this form of gambling can be manipulated by having a vote-buying.
During election day here in my country, people are expecting money from those Politics candidates. And also you can be analyzed who will gonna win if the opponent doesn't have much money. There will always an underdog during every election day.

On the contrary, betting on politics is the most unpredictable kind of game. I am sure you have no idea what betting on politics could be like, if you did, you would understand better. I hate to bet on politics because I know the nature of the game, it can be deceitful and as well confusing and coupled with the fact it doesn't come very often like other games makes it even more discouraging.

In my opinion, there are numerous numbers of very high standard and interesting casino games to really play than for anyone to start wasting time, efforts money on politics betting. It doesn't give any privilege to earn money, rather it takes money away from players which some even end up leading to argument if it is physical own.

No but some people do this they get every year bet on politics but it’s hardly risky as you don’t know which candidate is going to get huge amount of voting but most of time people who are expert use to win. Those who bet on politics will have to get information first about it then bet about his win Or lose. Better avoid if you don’t have idea about betting.

There are bettors so it's up to them on how they survive. They are not focusing on this kind of betting but it's just an additional option for their customers to bet on.
I think it's sustainable on their side providing some other interesting events that they can bet on like politics.

In my opinion the profits are the same as for other gambling. In gambling, the profits received are always directly proportional to the risks received and inversely proportional to the opportunities that are received where when we want a big profit then we must accept with a small opportunity. I myself do not like political gambling because it is difficult to predict, there are too many dirty games there because when I play gambling I will side with the team where I like it.

I don't gamble often but when I do, I usually bet on the stupidity of the politicians and so far I was mostly right. You can't go wrong with that strategy. If there is a possibility for things to go worse, it does. I wish I wagered more though. Trump election and the Brexit voting alone would have made me rich.
