There is this company which uses faster payment in the UK, they have been around for a few years and the fees are no different to Coinbase.  https://bittylicious.com/

No idea what is going on with Coinbase, seems like more banks are turning against Crypto which limits what Coinbase can offer.

What are you talking about? Bittylicious is definitely for UK banks I have used them before with my Barclays. They are trustworthy and have been around for a while now.

Try at CoinDeal. They have a BTC/GBP market and as far as I know, everything is working okay. I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but I recommend you to check that exchange.

If you want to use Coinbase you can do it indirectly: deposit Euros via a SEPA payment (you need a UK bank account) >> Buy from the Euros wallet.
you can try to buy Bitcoin on Revolut: You should do research before doing this, I noticed some warnings on Reddit.
