What is your Bitcoin price prediction for 2019

We're already reach to 3rd quarter for this year and the good news is there was no big dumped for bitcoin at least and because the price looks stable at $10k range since last month so in my opinion the highest price of bitcoin in this year could be surpassing $10k but not more than $15k and which mean new ATH will be not happened in this year

I agree more on the part you stated of a possibility of the price of 15k this year closing. Seems to be my price prediction too.
But about ATH 'not happening this year'... We can't be too sure.
In cryptocurrency anything can happen in sudden. Today the price might be low, tomorrow it could go so high or the other way round.

I will be glad if the price hit above than $12k at the end of this because that means, bitcoin will make a new highest price in the next year before the halving happens. The new ATH at the end of this year can be varied since we don't have any right prediction and people still predict on much higher price. I think bitcoin wants to give us some a big surprise for the price, so it is better we can be patient for a while and see what will happen to the price later.

Possibility wise it is quite possible but do you really think its probable? I mean we are already in September and unless something major happens we are stuck here for a little bit more while.

Obviously, this is finance and this is crypto with its decentralized unregulated nature it could go to 20k+ tomorrow and we would be all shocked how it happened but we would all know that its possible to happen. That is why I think people do not believe bitcoin would go above 20k but they are saying that full on knowing it could totally happen at any given moment same as it could also drop back to 4k at any moment as well but we believe that won't happen anytime soon. Usually these things happen really fast but not in 24 hours, like if we go up to 20k it would take about a week and not in a day so we would be taking a look at it when its happening.

for now, the closest prediction I feel is that the price of bitcoin is above $ 10k, but below $ 15k. so, that's between $ 10,000 and $ 15,000. Like to see that people are doubting BTC to have a new ATH this year, this means they are more matured and more realistic now.
Maybe most of us learn from our experience during year 2017 and last year, so we are not easily believing that the history will repeat itself again.

Now that ICO is almost dead, there's no major reason why altcoins rally will happen this year, maybe coming from IEO but the IEO this year is not big enough to cause an altcoins rally, it's safe to predict that we have a great year next year but this year is all about a good recovery as well.

That is why I highly suggest people to buy now and sell then instead of actually buying then, if you see bitcoin going up to 15k or more than do not buy it, it could still go even higher but that is a big risk compared to right now.

Without Altcoins, Bitcoin is not of great value and its price cannot be much higher than $ 10,000. I think the price of Bitcoin will decrease.

May I know what is your basis on your statement?

I just see the opposite happening because without altcoins, there will be no more competition in the market, hence, bitcoin would easily rise even higher than it has previously reach. Bitcoin is not viewed as a successful payment system because compared to the fiat payment system, they are more faster, bitcoin as its price getting higher, it's not good anymore for small transaction as the fee is high and the network congestion is one of the problem.

Bitcoin now is heavily invested because people are transferring their money as bitcoin is more promising due to its limited supply that could result to a higher value as the demand increases.

2019 is about to end and still theres no sign of bitcoin bull run.  I predicted bitvoin to go 30,000$ by the end of year which is too imposible to  happen by now.

we haven't even started q4 yet, and that's often a bullish time of year. in q4 2016 we went from $600 to $1000, and in 2017 we went from $4k to $20k. so don't underestimate what bitcoin can do in 3 months. in april-june this year, the market rallied ~250%. replicating that move from here would put us near $25k!
