There has been so many what if that has surrounded the establishment of bitcoin, and we have the right to think whatever we want to think out of curiosity, but I really doubt if there is any involvement of those agencies that you mentioned there, because there is no way they can operate without the support of government, and even if it is a covert operation, government would do everything possible to silently support it so that the system can become accepted as soon as possible for them to achieve a better result.

You can see how American government has fought crypto to some extent and trump even followed that up when he twitter a negative comment about bitcoin being for the lawless people and then discredit the project.

Im not sure that FBI or anyone from the government would create something that cant be controlled, or cant be manipulated easily. So the chances of bitcoin being created by them is very low, i would say.

I think if bitcoin was created by fbi,cia or us military, the bitcoin will be regulated assuming that it is still decentralized. Since the government has the control over the military, then bitcoin will still be holded by the government. Any wrong actions or against the law will be penalized.

This sounds like of those conspiracy theories again. It's pretty unlikely the government would ever make something like this, because they wouldn't be able to control it, even if they did create Bitcoin.

Satoshi went to great depths to protect his ID and that's why it's so successful, not because of other factors.

Bitcoin isn't the work of one many, there are a lot of developers that worked and still work on it to this day.

Another thing, you are underestimating people's intelligence, a single person could be able to create bitcoin, we can't underestimate people. As for staying anonymous, he may have been scared at first and then died without anyone knowing he created bitcoin

Everyone has their on perception on what they think btc is and how it originated, the fact no one see to know who the creator is leaves people to come up with different attributes,

I think the idea is ridiculous! I personally don't believe in this conspiracy theory for just one reason alone - "the U.S. Government will not make a hammer and use it to hit its head"!

I mean, why would the U.S. create something that might someday render  its mighty U.S. dollar obsolete? and could eventually destroy its economy and its economic influence all over the world? Answer to 1, bitcoin could potentially uproot the foundatin of USD, making it a threat to the control of the government towards the financial market. This marks the crwator of bitcoin as a high priority target to decrease the popularity of the coins and also because it was his invention. I'd choose to go anonymous no matter how much fame it could give me if it could potentially be a threat to my life.
2. You underestimate humans mate. Although rarely, some humans can exhibit a lot of their potential and create impossible things for their current era. Just look at the past inventors of different things. If you were living in their era, you'd also think all of their inventions were impossible to make.
3. Well seeing that they made bitcoin, anonymity should rather be easy to adopt. And bitcoin only caused an uproar a few years back where as the founder already chose to be anonymous right from the start.

This  Your  opinion has  on my mind  for years. but Satoshi Nakamoto  might be  a group of people from United  State army or  CIA ,  I always asked my self How  satoshi just  disappear  without a  trace.  But  We have understand   that   they  knew  from the beginning they  are  going to  disappear  so they  did every  possible to clear  their their  path.  But we  have  remember  there  is  no way you can hide the  secret  forever  i know   someone will reveal  the truth if  bitcoin was created  by CIA. First of all, the code for Bitcoin is Opensource, so there are not a lot of things that can be hidden in the code that has not been revealed already. Second of all, this technology are not controlled by a government agency and are spread over 1000's of nodes and this should already show you that it was not a technology that was created by the CIA or FBI, because they would create a technology that would be centralized and something that would not have been transparent and accessible to the public.

I like conspiracy theories as much as the next guy, however, there are some ways to explain most of the points you have made. For example, what if Satoshi remains anonymous because he is dead? A lot of people do believe that this might be the case. Also, you might be right that Satoshi has intelligence-related background, but maybe he is a former CIA employee or something? As for Bitcoin being too complex for one guy or a few people to think of, that might not be the case. Maybe they were just a competent developer with a lot of spare time (such as a retired intelligence agent) who went through a lot of work to develop it, test it, and alike? I mean, that is not a new theory, but all we can do is guess, and nobody knows for certain except for those who DO know.

He's saying the government is using bitcoin, and created that technology, not that they created and are using bitcointalk - although I'm pretty sure they are a couple government officials that use the forum to watch what's happening.

As I said previously, if the government did somehow make bitcoin, they kind of screwed themselves over - they created a currency that they can't control and is now gaining a lot of popularity.

I don't think that bitcoin is created by these organizations. Lets say they created the bitcoin and the blockchain. We have many alternative coins as well. And the idea of decentralization is another thing that these organizations can't be bringing on. They, as they are governmental organizations, won't be making us think that we are free and we can control things ourselves. So, I think they didn't create bitcoin, if they did, we will learn in the end and focus to other decentralized coins. We learned something and we will use it no matter what happens.

You are not the first person who have ever thought of such a theory. There are already many people in bitcoin even some of the users here have already mentioned such topic  years ago.  But since this was raised again I would say that we dont have enough evidence to prove that such case really existed and that the CIA, FBI, US Military have made bitcoin. We cannot even prove who satoshi nakamoto is and thus it is really impossible for us to claim that the US government is behind bitcoin.

But let us say they are the ones who made bitcoin. Then let us be thankful since if bitcoin is not made we are not getting the benefits we are enjoying today.

Truth is?i don’t care if who created Bitcoin because it doesn’t affect my living since I hide nothing illegal,the only person that hates the idea are those people that has been in some not so rightful way of living,I believe that these agency’s are here to help people and not to take advantage their powers.

Though some will use the access to dig for something they need to know but the totality still Bitcoin is for benefits of all.

That's true I even encounter one guy asking if bitcoin was created bu an alien living in our midst, this kind of foolish comes to our mind because we are looking for an answer to the questions that haven't been found, if we have the right answer there will not exist these kinds of theories, it's much better to let things be Satoshi does not want to come out or he is gone, I can accept these two theories.
