but investing in old altcoins with solid and smart team such as eth and litecoin can reduce the risk of our investment on altcoins

Don't expect too much from these new projects, you will be disappointed when you find out a token you have high hopes to have price of about $1 each ends up to only have $0.05.  You just can't control those investors to keep shorting because after all they bought some tokens for much cheaper.  And then there is also the team who are just manipulating the price.

We are no longer in 2017. The 100x was made possible before because of the ICO craze and also the bull run. You will never see those kinds of hypes today since many investors who got rekt learned a hard lesson and are now sticking with bitcoin and other top altcoins.

Its never been considered as a good strategy but there were investors who do have this kind of mindset where shooting all in with their money into these coins
believing that they can make 100x or 1000x but these good old days were gone just like what happened on year 2017 where small or low cap coins can potentially rise up to these levels and make yourself hell of a rich guy after that but for now or to this day this kind of investment strat doesn't work anymore yet most or all of them dump after gets listed on an exchange even if you are an early investor who do have huge bonuses or discounts but still you still loss of your investment due to price drop when it gets listed and that's the common risk behind on ICO or even on IEO doesn't give out assurance and that's how investment works by the way.

I do and that's how ico trade works these days, buy at the early stage and the price will be traded tripled from the ico price and then dump all of coins get out and search for another potential project again.
it caused by the new coin was starting from the cheap price and that will be easy to pump that coin rather than try to pump the major coin which has already traded hundred times above the ico price.
This is the best strategy right now just like hit and run.

I think, old coins are still very potential to develop, they just need additional services and product quality improvement, the smallest example, ETH, ETH as we know it is an old coin whose price is now falling at $ 200, I think ETH can still experience price increases if it is vital to change Ether's vision more broadly, such as creating businesses in the real world, focusing on exchanging ETH alone, or doing swap ETH in a different form than currently available, then the possibility of ETH will develop again, because they don't need to donors as well as new coins.

the problem of new coins is in funding, they will be very difficult to develop new coins, they need 1 to 2 years to really be able to face the market as it is today.

My advice is to go for binance IEO projects,they mostly triple in price or even over triple like 6x to 20x,if you dump you will make better profit in short term

Let's seriously think about such projects but for us, it's like a gambling game where the odds of losing are huge.

I don't think these currencies have hundreds of times the volume of transactions or oders, so when there is a buy or sell order, the value of it can increase hundreds of times.
However, there are some coins that can leap and have fairly stable trading volumes, but you cannot choose for yourself a few coins from thousands of types released on the market. This is a joke.

These are pump and dump coins, and it will likely go down, a good coin's price should move the price steadily, these pumps and dumps coins usually hype the coin to get more buyers and should not be one of the factor that you would want to invest.

I don't know where you based your data but new coins are having a hard time with their price, the majority of them are down 50 to 90% and investors are losing badly and crowdfunding especially ICO is not attractive to investors anymore.

Investing in new coins is more risky,the profits are indeed very high than old projects but too risky,new projects are mostly scam now and if you don't do better research you might end up been scammed,for now i will go for old project instead,lower profits but better rest of mind is what you will get

In 2019 there are few altcoins which have increased more than 100x times, you just need luck to make it happen. But now they are coming back to their price before they got pumped.

Remember when a coin can easily pumped to more than 100x, it can be dumped too 100x or even more

I try to invest like this sometimes too, but it is highly risky. It just like take a huge gamble on weak football team, If you win, you'll big but you'll lose more often than you'll win. You can only try this strategy if you're sure about the prospects of the coin.
