Don't leave out the old coins,they still have better chance to grow and bring good ROI to investors and holders,instead of putting all your eggs in a basket its wiser to diversify your portfolio with both old altcoins and new altcoin projects,the future is unpredictable and don't say old projects can't bring better profits that new projects

Sure, new coins will bring the biggest profit in the future, they are way cheaper to buy than old altcoins and market is really pulling new coins down,if you are building a portfolio for new projects you won't be spending much because they have lose value too much,mind you they are very risky as well,do your own research

Well, you are right to an extent though. In my own opinion, old altcoins like ETH have made their mark and that's why they are still valuable today. On the other hand, majority of new altcoins are seen as pump and dump coin with only little really having a use case. Also, to prove a point, how many of the new coins are within their initial prices? As for me, I still value those old coins within top 10 and only little number of new coins do I hold in portfolio, that is those I feel have a good idea and concept.

Any coin that can increase price in short therm for x100 can also decrease in value x100 in short term.  Coins that have lower emission should not change price that much. Gold have 1.5% yearly mining emission and its price is quite stable over long period of time. Bitcoin is now at 3.7% so as Monero.

New coins can be profitable but not all of them, mostly the newly launched crypto were dump, it is really risky to invest in new coins. It's hard to spot a good new altcoin that can increase 100 times as you said. Investing old coins are not bad especially in the top coinmarketcap they will survive for long, Old coins are good for long term investment.

If you have the eye for a coin that can get high as 100 times then it is okay, but if the project fails which somehow is the case with most of the new currencies out there and you have spend lot of money with it, then old alts are way better than that. I would probably bet it in some casino online than to invest in no assurances new companies that are popping recently. That way I would know where my money would go, instant lose or win, rather than tracking someone that don't to be trace and ran with your money, enough of that.

I think this is not a strategy that might be a stroke of luck, It's also risky, because if you not do research and you are not an expert analyst and so you will lose your investment money, It is now difficult to raise prices currency of new projects to 100 times as in previous years and there are many scam new projects and projects whose idea fails, Therefore, your investment in old currencies with high market value will be a safe investment, Because these old projects have an active team that fulfills their promises and has the potential to qualify them for continuous development, unlike new projects that merely list their currency in the exchange platform without finding real products related to blockchain to help the success of their idea.

I keep investing on privacy coins for future altcoin seasons because i belief that privacy coins and tokens will have higher demands in the future,altcoins like monero,verge,beam,loki,komodo,pivx,apollo currency etc are all very good privacy coins and they will surely bring better profits

You are very sure that the old altcoin will not go to 100 more expensive. What is your reference. My strategy is to stay on the old altcoin. At this time altcoin could not be moved for a long time because of several things that happened.

He also said it'll take a long time but that's reasonable since there's higher volumes on these top altcoins while on the new altcoins it's expected there would be less volumes causing quicker and bigger price movements. I think the only reason why OP said the old altcoins won't increase significantly anymore because of how bitcoin's market cap/dominance is increasing recently.

The thing about altcoins is that you should always treat as a startup company across all angles, you can't guarantee ROI in just a few months after it hit exchanges. Make it a habit to check on trusted listing websites to do the work and tell you which one's are legit before you get into their IEO or what not. We don't want to commit the same mistake as to what happened last 2017 where there were a lot of scam projects.

There were enough examples when even old crypto currencies made x100 within a week because of a massive upgrade. The main reason here is not a coin but investors mood and the market conditions, because without Bulls even the best crypto cannot add in price.
