I'm not expert at which coding language does a gambling site use but most websites at this time use Javascript. I even see some website where using a coding language from PHP to JavaScript. Although, some developers prefer using the PHP because it is faster and tends to have fewer issues.

I am not in touch with programming anymore (It's been long time) but I thought JavaScript is client site language. It use to improve the user experience but to pull data and save data you need a server side scripting language like: PHP, ASPX etc.

For example: Calculate 3 * 9 which is 27.
You really do not need to save any data here to do this multiplication. Do it in the client side.

Technically, you only need HTML to create a website. It would look like crap, but it can be done.

Add in CSS, and boom, you can make your site look a lot better.

Add in JS (I prefer jQuery) and then you can animate your website.

I have heard that mostly sites uses PHP and java script coding. I am not a programmer expert so do not know much about these languages.
I Just want to know if there is any theme available in word-press also which can help to create a gambling site ?

To make a working gambling site, I'm sure there will be many programming languages ​​that will be used. From html, css, javascript, php, C# and so on. No doubt, PHP is very handy web language but it isn't very appropriate to create web applications due to its limited functionality. For example, if we want to build an app that first ask user to select Car Brand, then process the input and show user a list of all car models manufactured by such Brand and then user can select his preferred model. If we try building this app using pure PHP then first part i.e. selection of car brand will be processed with no difficulties but it isn't possible to process second part i.e. preferred model independently from the first execution in PHP. Therefore, PHP has to be complimented with some front-end language like Javascript in order to create dynamic web applications.


However, building application as a combination of basic Javascript and PHP is also not 100% full-proof. Javascript has to executed in the browser of user thus the result of the bet can be retracted by user even before placing bet. This can lead to hijacking of betting site easily. Therefore, one has to use advanced framework and environments to build web apps. I really liked Darstar_'s suggestion of using node.js, (thanks for that Darkstar). Node.js solves the problem of processing javascript in the browser and with node.js in operation, the script can be pre-executed before reaching the user's browser. In other words, with node.js, javascript can be used as server-side language. I already have my game ready and now shifting its backend from PHP to node.js. Let's see how it goes.

If we're talking about web, then even in a none Node.js server there will be JavaScript.
The games could easily be written in JavaScript even if other server language is used.

@Pamoldar its possible to write backend JavaScript, it's called Node.js. Actually it's the only programming method I know well!

Angular and Node.js together with Java are becoming more common nowadays and I think major gambling sites cannot rely on an outdated technology like PHP.I think that Python is becoming one of the most used programming and developing language,even Cisco is implementing it in its SDN-Software Defined Networkingfor automatization.

not just major but even the minor gambling sites could experience a problem if they will still continue to use outdated technology because the devices that we use thesedays are now becoming more high tech  .  

 they might not run old programs or websites properly  , plus the competition is now tough about adopting new tech/software on a website   .  

also i heard that some browser will now stop suporting flash and other outdated stuffs .

Onto this point, if you want to create a gambling site and don't know how to code yourself and don't have a large amount of funding available. I would stop right now, as you're not going to be able to run your own site without significant capital investments and time investments.

This isn't something where you buy an online portal from someone for $50 and next thing you know you're practically printing money (Don't fall for those scams, where people are selling their sites)

Hey Bagaji, I am in talk with few potential investors and they are interested in starting full-fledged online casino. However, the number of crypto-based casinos are growing very fast and to withstand the competition, one has to offer something unique and better than others. So currently me with support from 2 developers are trying to create unique  casino games that aren't available on any other gambling site right now. I can't disclose everything right now but if everything goes as we planned, we will launch something big soon.

From what boyptc's link provided, javascript is mainly used to develop a crypto gambling website both in frontend and backend. Javascript now is one of the most popular programming languages and it has a lot of frameworks to help you achieve what you want.
