I don't think people are getting interested in to the new altcoins altcoins created by the developers that is the reason why people are moving to Bitcoin for the dominance of Bitcoin is at 70 percentage now. I guess we need altcoins as well but not new cryptocurrencies every day which nullify the need of cryptocurrencies in the form of payment system.

What we could conclude is the last bull run an unnatural pump. The current rise in price is a natural one. There are many companies that are integrating crypto to real world businesses. Bitwala has now bank deposits and withdrawal with bitcoin supported in German banks. Microsoft taking payments in Bitcoin and altcoins.

We have some really good coins doing a great job with devs, community and for the whole enviroment in general

It's not only prices, even with the prices in a low range, it's good to know people are investing and hellping to evolve the market

I also believed that there have been improvement in cryptocurrency. The prices might be down at the moment but more people are getting to know about it through the social media. Many projects run bounties on social media, this has really helped to push crypto forward. I'm sure we are going to have a real bull very soon.

Altcoins can have their own applications, but in any case bitcoin is the most trusted cryptocurrency. Despite of this, the need for altcoins and also their benefits to the market cannot be ignored.
With introducing many new altcoins and many efforts that made to solve some problems, we entered a new era. However most of the altcoins have been really useless, many of the developers should be appreciated because their attempt to make cryptocurrencies more improved.
There have been many scam projects. But now we see it's not easy to scam people, as scam projects are not able to raise even a cents. Now only useful tokens and coins can grow.
My only concern about new altcoins is lack of decentralization due to governments forces.

Despite all these, BTC price didn't soar high enough to kickstart the bullrun we are hoping. The trauma it put to the people who have seen the price crumbles to the ground in less than a year the price dive to -80% almost impossible to rebuild the reputable of the altcoins that died in the process. No one in the right mind will stick to crypto all the way once they know the history of what just happen last year.

After the last bullrun of 2017 many thinks its the end for crypto in general but after bear market took place things start shaping up for crypto even in that hard time,we keep seeing good adoptions and even with Bakkt and regulation postponement its still all well and good,this gives me more confidence in crypto than ever

I agree with you, there have been tremendous improvements so far since crypto sprouted. Improvements in blockchain architectures, more applications of crypto and blockchain in diverse sectors, growth in overall crypto market capitalization showing that more and more people are interested in crypto. More mainstream news, although we are yet to achieve mainstream adoption fully.  Finally improvement in crowd funding for new crypto startup projects from ICO to IEO.

You are right mate and it is very much true. Crypto is getting more better with each day it's just that scammers and fraudulent individuals are the one dragging this space back. If only developers can stick to their goals and objectives thus developing what they intially set out to create we would go far. Nevertheless, with blockchain gaining limelight with each passing day, mass adoption will surly come one day.

This is very true, we have made a great leap in the space, it is just that the price has not moved in the direction of the progress we have made, another thing that we need is for most of these scam projects in the space to die, we need to encourage exchanges to delist them, just for sanity to be restored

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with your points here. Bitcoin can grow without altcoin, although there could be some correlation but I don't think that altcoin can influence Bitcoin more than Bitcoin influence them. Crypto trading is still based on Bitcoin price that's why we see everyone one of them being paired to Bitcoin. I don't see altcoins growing quickly, they are still way below their ATH and even if they grow very fast as your perception, there are still hundred of coins dying and being de listed by top exchanges. To be able to see the altcoin market being alive again, Bitcoin should take off first and maybe some of the top altcoin could follow as well and perhaps it could trickle down the line. IMHO.

I am convinced that not only bitcoin will be the most popular cryptocurrency, but also many other altcoins. Undoubtedly in the future crypto will continue to improve and develop and we are waiting for many more new successful coins. What kind of coin that would be for the contender of bitcoin? I really don't see that we are already coming up to that point, we are not close to that moment.

Bitcoin has stood on its own before even without altcoins. I can't imagine that bitcoin will never survive even without altcoins but what it would be if bitcoin isn't there, will the altcoins market will survive? probably some good alts will but most will be dead.

It is not just about the number of altcoins that keep increasing, but it is more of the quality of the projects that are being launched. We do not have quality projects, there is no way they can compete with the king of all coins, which is presently bitcoin. So, for there to be a difference, then something unique must be launched, which will be able to challenge the positions of the topmost coins.

As mentioned, between last of 2017 and early of 2018 this world has shown the best performance, but on another hand, this year the crypto world has lost very profit, l know it is a chain reaction and everything can not be good every time. BTC is king of the crypto world, it is decentralized monetary. Maybe, BTC doesn't need altcoins, but altcoins need BTC. Price of altcoins will up if BTC would go up. We can not deny these facts.

The disaster spreads all over the economic system and there is only limited things left to do, unfortunately. The problems will not disappear in one night, we need a better solutions and the before stated causes only weakens the advantages of crypto ecosystem.

Altcoins have not shown anything during 2018 and 2019. They are dying off, because BTC leaves absolutely no space for them to grow. Once BTC dominance would fall, altcoins will raise from ashes, but we need to be patient.
