Proof of Stake (PoS) is becoming increasingly popular. There are various PoS networks among top-tier cryptocurrencies today, e.g. Tezos. Popular projects such as Ethereum are making the switch to PoS. More networks and flavors of PoS are being released. Which one is your favorite and what is your reasoning behind it? What type of PoS consensus does your favorite network use and what are its particularities? Keep up with the Staking Space! https://twitter.com/StakingSpace

I do not have an Reddit account, so I am posting here cryptocurrencies from my portfolio that has PoS consensus. The most profitable is: ICON, followed by QuarkChain. Also Cardano will launch staking this year, but the rewards will be only around 3% per year.

Proof of Stake, same like Masternode feature is very attractive for investors. But, you have to also calculate with the inflation rate. More you get, more the coin loose on value. So it is pretty high to find optimal inflation rate and a reasonable profit for staking.

Many POW coins are now switching to Prove of Stake and ETH is joining the circus as well,i think POS must have a better advantage or favours for the projects than POW because i really dont understand why many projects are switching,POW helps in keeping liquidity alive

I don't have much experience with POS. But I am waiting for ETH to start with staking. I would like to participate in the same. Somebody mentioned about ADA. I would like to stake ADA as well

Well, I am choosing Masternode type of stake, I choose it because the reward I get from the masternode is very stable while in regular staking my reward is very unstable. I can get a single reward in a day of time with Masternode daily, but with regular staking, I can get 0 a day or even 2 stakes a day. It is very random compared to Masternode type of staking.
and about ETH, I hope they are going to do it as soon as possible.

I used to stake some low market cap coins before and they all ended up pretty bad. Either the project became stagnant or abandoned and that's why I have no favorite for now. Maybe I'll just wait for ethereum.

It is the best time to buy altcoins that will generate you passive income in the future. Focus on proof-of-stake coins, exchange coins and lending coins. All of them are super cheap now and with the next bull run all of these coins will be very tempting for every crypto investor.

There' are many masternode or POS coin, and ethereum will become as pos coin. If we look at the record, there are several pos coin that have great volume and also high marketcap. So far my favourite coin to stake are
1. vite coin they have great developer, and they develop their blockchain and platform continously. I hope they not develop their blockchain and platform only, i hope they develop their business and manage it so vite coin can grow faster and have more investor. FYI, Staking vite using DPOS. 2. XP, owh this is small coin and never going to be big coin i think. But i like it becaue of they have many supporter, i belive developer still support this coin on the market. 3. Sprout, very small coin and never going to be big coin too. I like this way to increase my doge coin bit by bit
What about eth? i don't think i want to stake ethereum for now, i will stake ethereum when eth price down until 80% of current price.

Cosmos.I like the concept of this project. Also, Cosmos is actively developing an ecosystem. Therefore, I consider this platform the most promising of the top cryptocurrencies, but Ethereum is much more popular and has a larger ecosystem. Also, ProximaX may become one of the best PoS coins.

I use Pos on Callisto: https://callisto.network/This is the Ethereum Classic sidechain. The project does security audits of smart contracts.

if ethereum later adds POS consensus to their system, I will be the first person to hold on for a long time. maybe now many projects are using POS consesus, but I don't think there's any real use they provide. different from ethereum, if they release a POS, they already have a real use case and many requests make the price of ETH coins can increase.
this is my reason for ethereum later, becoming POS. but before that happened I wasn't interested in other projects that had other POS conses.

for now I'm not too interested in projects that have a POS system. this looks like centralization where the developer can adjust the market price. when prices fall they can increase the percentage and vice versa. POW is better, although it costs more but the average coin it generates has a lot of demand.

yes, I think this PoS really helps crypto users, of course, in terms of security of tokens that they store in the wallet. This program is very helpful because it prevents wallets from hacking by people who are less responsible. and most of the specialty on the platform that I use is that it can multiply our coins on the wall with the number of coins we have. with ethereum using this PoS and can be used on erc20 I feel very benefited because this program really helped me in the current crypto conditions.

What type of PoS consensus does your favorite network use and what are its particularities? Each consensus mechanism has its own advantages. Personally, I recently began to study a lot of the PoS consensus due to the fact that Ethereum is going to switch to it. I am sure that PoS will bring Ethereum additional opportunities and will be able to increase the price of ETH, because the more Ethereum coins you have, the more you can earn money, and the increase in demand for ETH will cause a price increase.

You can go for Dash even if the annual ROI won't be as big as other ones but you can be sure that it's the most used Stake/Masternode coin judging from it's daily volume and market cap.Though you can find more profitable coins but risk is bigger.

There actually are live PoS networks with real world use cases.

My favourite POS is Minter. Mainnet is launched. Wallets are developed. Rewards from staking are sent by Validators (Nodes) to delegators every minute. Current profit is about 20% per month. Minter has a large community of users and developers.
