damn, wtf. when it comes to money, most peoples haven't their emotions under control. sure, the fraudster deserved it in any way, but on the other hand they have could do it in another way to bring him the punishment he deserves (not in this way, by law) Roll Eyes

I'm not in favor of killing bad guys like scammers, but sometimes it happens because people get so angry and  of their  lost. Maybe it is a lesson to the scammers so that they will not do any harm to them stop the bad doing.

I'm not happy with this news because I don't think it's good to kill people in any circunstance, but this scammer guy was not right to steal money from another people
And he was killed by his accomplices , so there's a lot of wrong things, it's a tragedy, the crime doesn't worth in any situation

I think you would be less interested in this news if we just remove 'Bitcoin' from the title, like:
Scammer caught tortured and killed.
Every day, a lot of people, who scammed others are caught, and punished somehow...
If the scammer is not scamming with bitcoin, but any other kind of money, valuable things, etc... it's possible that he/she would get the same punishment from those who were scammed...
That's life, if someone starts to scam he/she should think about the possible consequences... maybe he was expecting some years in jail and after to spend the money happily somewhere on an exotic place...

i guess when you steal $60 million from your criminal associates, it can backfire. Roll Eyes

it sounds like the guy was pretty dumb. he refused to give up the wallet password, which means he probably never even moved the funds when he said he was hacked.

yeah I wondered if they could see the funds in his wallet. I also wonder if the coins were really taken via a hack.

Violence has no place in a humane society that we should be building at all times but at the same time the society should not be welcoming scammers of different types and sizes. Scamming $63 Million is not an easy feat as I am sure this can be involving a lot of victims and when people can be feeling that justice is not that easy to accomplish then there is a big possibility that murder is a big option to some who think that they have been severely aggrieved.

Well, this should have been a big warning to anyone planning to defraud people to think many times over as nobody can actually stop anyone from finding opportunities for murder. Sadly, this happened in India and scams are one of the many reasons why the government is adamant in recognizing the use and trade of cryptocurrency in the country.

not really.
for example if he was scamming fiat then he would be hiding the cash somewhere and they would beat the location out of him. it goes for anything else too, the security levels and methods of storing the valuables might be different but the principle is the same.

Well not to argue but I have never heard of a torture to death a thief that attempted to steal 63 million in cash .   Although I am sure it has happened.

This is a btc forum.  So I started the thread.

I get that big drug lords have wracked and tortured to death many of their associates over big money. But it does not belong here as this is a btc forum.

I figure the dead guy may have a loved one that can access that coin.
I figure he knew he was dead so why give up the wallet.

Next case I figure he knew they would kill him .
I figure he knew if he kept his mouth shut his buddies would never see the coin.
So fuck them and he stuck it out.

Next case I figure it was stolen and he was fucked up for no reason at all.

$63million is big money and if this was not in bitcoins but in fiats - we would see the same in this case. So, I think bitcoin has nothing to do here.

It's a criminal case. Law is there to bring justice.

Why did his partners not use multisig wallet? I think it's a story for concealing something else. A group of frauds, who have stolen $63 million, don't know about multisig or the probability of being scammed was also known to them. Why didn't they adopt secure way? I guess this a story bullshit.

Now that's not very nice thing to do. People are affected by the money a lot. The more money comes into the matter the more serious people become , sometimes they even forget the money they are fighting for doesn't exist at all. Banks had ruled over us for a long time so it will take some years to change the mindset.killing someone becuase of something is never an appropriate punishment, you can't just kill everyone for making mistakes can you?

That is what he will get if he scams other people who have the power to tortured or killed that person. That person should be killed and will not have a chance to run away with the money because he will get hunted by other people and will try to find where he is. If the reason is because of money, I think people will killing each other without having humanity and sense of life because they don't want to see other people will trick them into getting the money.

That is a sad lesson for us, and that is a lesson for us too. I hope we don't scam other people, so we don't have to be like that person. We need to use cryptocurrency for a good thing so people out there will not think that the cryptocurrency is only for illegal thing but also can be a good thing.

Well, when it comes to money, this should be expected. Instead of channeling all the energy to killing the scammer, and getting no money back. Why not report at (www DOT primefinancerecovery DOT com) and get your lost money back without payment of any upfronts. It's what I did when I was in a similar situation. It's what you should do then maybe probably kill scammer later.

In 3rd world countries like India, it is not uncommon to see people taking things into their own hands to deal with criminals. In this case it was not vigilante mobs dealing with the criminal, but his own criminal partners. How nice of them to take him to hospital, I reckon they want him to heal nicely, so that they can torture him again.  Roll Eyes

They say there is no honor amongst thieves, so I think this is very applicable in this scenario. If it is true that he got hacked and subsequently lost the coins, then it is justice for his crimes.  Tongue

What can I say? It's a shock. In the world of big money, anything happens. I am not surprised that in this case there was such a cruel reprisal. This could happen to everyone, not just people associated with crypto.

This kind of article and real life events will only do no good to cryptocurrency. It'll just give crypto a bad image how bad and brutally it could be.

Scammers are everywhere especially when talking about valuable things. But this kind of action like torturing them is still not a good thing even though the victim also did a crime. I don't side on anyone since both of them did something wrong but I just hope this won't affect crypto and bitcoin.
