There are currently over 1 billion Catholics in the world today. This doesn't include other Christian denominations such as Anglican, Baptist, Orthodox, Protestant, etc, so Christianity is by far the largest religion and will most likely still be the largest in 2050.

If anything, they are far more religious than many religions today. Catholics? Numbers are hyper-inflated (because in many country the State pays them money for every registered catholic), and many just stick to baptism and funerals, not even bothering with Sunday mass, oh and occasionally marriage because its fashionable...

The rest of the Christians are a mixed bag, some devote, some only appearances.

I still have to find out why Muhammad wanted people to pray towards the city he was born (i know, a revelation, but still...), or why they were praying towards Jerusalem before that. But in any case, this made them get good with maps, so they could build the mosques pointing properly. See? Civilization!

Christianity will always be the biggest religion followed by Islam. There is a prediction that the later will be in majority but there's still a long way to go. 2.3 vs 1.8 billion is a huge difference today as well.

In my opinion, the largest religion will be the absence of religion. Statistically Gen Z is the least religious generation and even a lot of millennials in developed countries are atheists. But this is probably not gonna happen by 2050, maybe more later like 2075-2100.

atheists will be more and more, religious leaders have started to worry about this, technology is developing as well as atheists are developing.

2050 onwards is a year where many religious leaders must be really serious about dealing with atheists, they will continue to grow if left unchecked.

WHatever amongst all the mentioned religions may be.the important thing is the respect we will give to everyone because religion is nothing if we don’t know how to value life’s of others

Many of us claims that our religion is good compared to others but don’t even lean below to see hungry people on the street and atleast extend hands to give piece of bread

I think in the year 2050 the largest religion in the whole world is still the Roman Catholic because we know that is the largest nunber of members and most of the country now the population is christianity. Im a baptist christian they have same beliefs but we have different for the others just respect each belief about religion.
