Is it okay to DOX a shit poster + multi account holder ?

I just want to know, if it is morally, and officially okay to dox a shitposter / multi-account holder here - just so he can not get away by doing the same thing again and again.

If he hasn’t scammed or done anything to wrong you then no, I don’t think it’s OK at all to be honest. DOXING people can have very serious implications & put their life at risk. You can put their family in danger too.
If it’s a shitposter who has a couple of shitposting accounts then I think DOXING is way too far, in my opinion.

I think DOXING should be a last resort towards somebody who has harmed you. This doesn’t sound like something that deserves their details to be splashed on here.

I don’t control anybody brother, I just don’t think being a shitposter is a bad enough crime to ‘potentially’ be at risk from being robbed for your bitcoin or targeted for identity theft etc which is what can happen post DOX.
You don’t know if people have kids too, it’s not fair to put other people in danger just because somebody shitposts.

If you were scammed for thousands of USD worth in BTC though I would have a different opinion, being doxed would be justified then.

Its easy to get carried away when you are in a position where you have information against someone that's just being a dick to you. Which is why I opened this thread. Just to confirm and not let myself be stupid and do something because I am scornful.

I think, doxing should be OK for everyone. If someone is not skilled enough to cover his own identity, why should someone else be responsible for his protection?

Its about morals. Everyone of us are defined by our own sets of moral codes. But every now and then you come across people that are just spiteful idiots that get on your nerves and abuse you.

You try to fight back and then it feels like you are punching the air because those trolls hide behind the veils of internet secrecy and anonymity. And when you finally find out their true identity, you want to grab hold of their collars and scream at their faces in broad daylight and tell them that being a dick online to someone just for fun can have very real consequences.

At such times, it is very easy and tempting to set aside your own moral codes and ethics and go the distance to try and harm someone.

Not because it would be fun, but because it would be, in some way, the right karmic thing to do.

Although if I stoop to that level, there'd be no difference in between him and me. AND I WON'T.

This thread exists so that I can have some sense of direction what this community thinks about the issue and what the official rules are, if they exist.

That logic is seriously flawed--people should take the higher ground in the face of a shitposter with multiple accounts and NOT resort to doxxing them, and what you're saying is basically that a thief is justified in stealing someone's wallet if they haven't chained it to their belt. 

There's no need to do that to someone who's just being a forum pest.  LFC_Bitcoin is right; doxxing someone could result in unforeseen and serious consequences, and it's only something that should be done to scammers.  The Master-P doxxing was a perfect example of that a few years ago.
