The decentralized element of blockchain is opening many doors for a variety of individuals and industries, from secure p2p transactions to game assets that are utilized on multiple platforms.

The one industry that may require the most effort, aside from government-regulated industries like banking, is the decentralization of education. The concept can be developed by a variety of vetted users, knowledge can be verified through blockchain credentials, and information can be obtained by the masses at a fragment of the cost of traditional schooling methods.

Since this is a new concept we, as an organization, were wondering your thoughts on the matter.

What are the concerns of the students, educators, and community members that rely on education as a source of knowledge and credentials?

In 2017, when I worked on the Korean educational project with Dong Wook Jeong, we defined the Theorem of decentralization and now I'm trying to compare and contrast Korean and American decentralization systems and do my essay report.
I can share a copy of Decentralization of Education: Legal Issues by Ketleen Florestal and Robb Cooper. A must read for those who want to understand the process that are behind the veil of decentralization.

What is there to decentralize on education? As far as sources of knowledge is concerned, I guess that comes from the lectures of the teachers as well as the books that they are using. If there is something that should be recorded on the blockchain pertaining to education, it is the school data such as grades and professors or teachers objective assessment on their students.

Education budget and its specific expenditures could also be integrated to the blockchain. But this is more on the financial aspect and not strictly on the education matter.

Yes it is possible to add education knowledge into blockchain and make them as decentralized network but not every corner of this world has same education system so if nodes only spreads between certain part then it may not be completely decentralized but it makes the acces of any data transparent so implementing blockchain into education will happen in future.

I believe that some part can be entrusted to the blockchain and the other to the human factor because training new people should be as flexible and creative as possible, and any technology can bring bugs.

I really don't see the point in decentralized educations, not yet anyway. We don't even have any decentralized exchanges yet, besides Blocknet. Makes me laugh seeing exchanges like: Bisq, Idex, Binance, Waves etc. claiming to be decentralized, when really they aren't.

It's really fascinating though, that so many people around the world seems to care THAT much about centralization, as it's often NOT a good thing for our society, due to bad actors involved.

i confused , or i misunderstanding what OP mean, because education is based from knowledge of person who want to sharing their knowledge to another people.
and i clearly didn't see how something like that will be decentralized.

Even if some part is entrusted to the blockchain what are the benefits? I just do not see much sense in decentralized education except a financial part as it was mentioned above.

in fact education becomes important especially if you want to make developments that are structured and measured with structured. and sometimes to ask the government to carry out crypto legality in a country, there must be people who have strong arguments to support crypto, especially in government.
