Hey. At the moment I'm in the process of choosing the wallet for etherium (bye, paper). I've read a lot of theoretical stuff about different types of storages, but I also wanted to know about your experience. Any advice?
Thinking of KeepKey or Trezor.

Both KeepKey and Trezor are great cold storage options and can be connected to shapeshift.com which offers a beautiful interface and user-friendly access to your assets. With a large display, KeepKey offers the ability to see full addresses when sending, receiving, and trading. In our opinion, one button as opposed to two also makes the KeepKey easier to use. Both hardware wallets offer the ability to add a passphrase onto the existing 12-word recovery sentence with adds an extra layer of security.

For deciding between the two, you may want to look at which coins/tokens are supported by each.

KeepKey supported assets: https://keepkey.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003047479-What-Digital-Assets-Does-KeepKey-Support-

Trezor supported assets: https://trezor.io/coins/

For 60% off a brand new KeepKey please visit keepkey.com and enter code: DEALKEY60 at checkout.

More information on the two wallets can be found at our blog, here: https://medium.com/shapeshift-stories/hardware-wallets-make-a-comeback-thanks-to-the-new-shapeshift-1ab16c0df419

We’re excited to hear you are interested in a hardware wallet! Let us know if there is anything else you are curious about  Smiley

Ledger nano is the best option and I own a Ledger Nano S. If you have too many coins, got for Nano X. Till now my experience is good and since it gives passphrase safety option along with the seed, it's the safest option as of now. Ledger is the same but not used it so have no idea about the space issues.

Why you didn't include ledger since you have mentioned about Keepkey and Trezor? Never used the two of them but both are good wallets as it was suggested by --> https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet?step=5&platform=hardware

I did not heard about those two you mention.
Most user are using for is nano ledger one of the trusted and safest.

And using MEW it is good and nothing problem on me on when I'm doing to save some of my coins that I have and transfer to exchange site.
But must be careful because of this have some website have same platform of MEW those are a phising site that can get your coins at your wallet.

If you are going to use MyEtherWallet, run it locally. There is zero reason to use the online version when you can simply download it and open it in your browser locally. Of course you should also be using a more secure OS like Linux...

Thinking of KeepKey or Trezor.

I was using Metamask for a lot of time and I was pretty satisfied with it.
When I accumulated a good amount of crypto I decided to buy a hardware wallet in order to keep my funds safe. My Ledger Nano S is my wallet for my Eths and I think that it is the best choice you can make when choosing a wallet.

If you are going to be storing good amount of ETH and tokens that you cannot afford to lose, invest in hardware wallets.
They are easy to understand and easy to adhere to security best practices.

With hardware wallet, Trezor and Ledger have one of the best reputation in the industry, you can continue to use the apps you love - myetherwallet, mycrypto, metamask, etc. when interacting with Ethereum network. It is just that you can be sure that the private keys are stored away from the computer drive.

Now I am sure if you are into cryptocurrency, ETH is not the only thing you have in mind.
Trezor and Ledger allows you to easily keep other coins like Bitcoin, Litecoin, and the other crypto secure as well.

I put my MEW site to my bookmark so that I can easily open it not to search it anymore and to be safest way for me. And yes in OS Linux are most secure but I dont have that kind of unit yet that I need to and more secure if we using some apps like MEW, Im only using windows right now.

For ethereum you can use any hardware wallet like Ledger,
or Metamask wallet that also supports all tokens if you need them.
I would also like to see more privacy wallets that support ETH
