BNB bought JEX and airdropping JEX tokens

Binance acquired the JEX exchange and they are to airdrop the JEX tokens holded by the JEX team to BNB holders.
JEX is a competitive exchange with it's JEX token on Ethereum platform, Binance would move JEX to it's own Binance platform but would not be killing JEX as a competitor. They have assigned an autonomous team inside the Binance to work on JEX and develop it as a competitor of Binance.

I think JEX was a strategic buy from binance because they wanted to enter the world of "futures" trading just like bakkt. I think JEX will compete against bakkt.

I have registered in the jex binance and it seems like this exchange site doesn't give a free withdrawal limit to the new account and it must be verified at least complete the tier 1 verification.

I thought that rather than called jex will become the competitor for binance i can say if jex will become a fully regulated exchange site and compared with binance and that will be very strict compared with binance.

At least thank you for this news and i tryto accumulate more jex coin.

Certainly the new JEX, will provide products derived from its new owner, namely Binance. Including futures, options and perpetual contracts. this is proven by JEX being renamed as JEX Binance. I believe that will be Binance's competitor, but actually they are partners

After the collab there will be no competition anymore.
The 2 will work out together to be better and get more people on their platform.

Another good news for BNB, Today I saw price of BNB increased quite significally after JEX airdrop announced.

It's easier to make money out of these airdrops as long as it was announced and came from Binance.

This is going to be a long airdrop. 1 year at least and you need to hold at least 10 BNB along the time. It could be difficult for a trader who earns on price fluctuations and I don't think it would be worth the effort if you consider the time.
But if you are into holding BNB than it surely is a bonus for you. BNB is performing well with this news and there soon could be next IEO in launchpad.

This is a good move from Binance management, keep expanding and trying to keep the exchange dominance. I prefer a fierce and a healthy competition and hate full dominance by any exchange. Binance has really worked hard enough. BNB will pump with this news. I will prefer to trade BNB than holding for the airdrop.

I agree with you, I hold a Bnb token in order to participate in ieo. I do not have a large number of them. Previously, the conditions for participation were good, now it has become unprofitable, I was expecting some good news from the exchange, jex I do not consider good news since the charges will be minimal. Therefore, I sold all my bnb.

That's a good strategy deployed by binance team to keep the JEX platform still active and working as a competitor of binance exchange. I really don't know what must have propelled binance to make such a decision, but I hope that the decision of the team is wise.

This is a really good move by Binance, CZ is a genius. I'm astonished at the fact that Binance still assigned some of its team members to push on with JEX vision as a competitor. This is good news for BNB holders since they will be getting airdrop for holding BNB, more great updates keep coming from Binance.

I am.very much interested in the jex airdrop but it seems that details about it is very scarce at the moment, I was expecting the news about the airdrop to pump the price of BNB but it barely moved it at all, maybe people are waiting for the details of the airdrop before making any moves.

That long lasting airdrop is surely the perfect plan of CZ and Binance to keep their investors sticking with Binance for longer period. If I am an investor, I will not fall into this, because all coins have their cycles with peaks and bottoms. Whenver a coin reaches its peak, it is time for investors to seriously consider about profit taking. After taking profit, it will be better and safer to stay away from that asset around 3 to 4 months before coming back to find out good entry points to reinvestment.

I do find out my chances with potential good entry points for coins under my radar after each 4 month period.

It looks like jex exchange site will become the next expansion for binance to create a fully regulated crypto market that will be supporting the IEO fundraising like what has already done at binance.

For traders will better to leave the binance market starting from the first distribution of the JEX token.

To call jex will become a competitor for binance just like a marketing gimmick only.
