[Superalgos]

Hello Traders!

Superalgos is an open-source project building free tools to help traders increase their efficiency by automating their work.

We believe traders should focus on the creative aspects of trading (developing strategies) and leave the actual execution to machines, to do what they do best: work 24/7, emotionlessly.

To that effect, we've recently pre-released the Superalgos Desktop App.

The app enables the automation of complete trading systems with multiple strategies. With virtually zero coding required, you may create and fine-tune strategies on a visual setting. You may back-test, paper-trade and trade live, directly from your machine.  And it's free!

The main design principle that guided the development was building an app that would allow non-coders to build trading bots based on the same kind of logic traders use when trading manually.

On top of that, the app needed to have a trustless deployment (no need to trust third parties with funds, API Keys or strategies), and be based on a trading protocol that would allow strategies and components of strategies to be portable, so that traders may collaborate and share their work.

This last bit is very important for our long-term vision: a Collective Trading Intelligence at the service of all people.

The app is currently in an alpha stage, so while fully-functional, has a few limitations that we plan to lift as the software stabilizes.

We are pre-releasing at an early stage to encourage traders to participate in shaping up the app... your feedback will be valuable for the final development leg, and hopefully, you'll make good profits in the process!

These are the main features:

• You may create any number of Strategies by entering conditions and formulas via a web application. The set of Strategies constitute your Trading System.
• Virtually no coding skills are required. You define conditions and formulas with simple statements... (e.g. candle.close < bollingerBand.movingAverage)
• You may start with any of the Strategies shared with the pre-release and at the Telegram Community, or from scratch.
• You may run live simulations of your Strategies, both with historic and up-to-date data. All of the actions taken by each Strategy may be viewed in a graphical interface right over the charts, along with indicators and market data.
• The Strategy simulation may be calculated and visualized in any of the available time periods (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40 and 45 minutes, as well as 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24 hours)
• You may visually debug and optimize your Strategies, navigating through every decision made by each Strategy in a visual setting, closely scrutinizing what conditions or formulas may be optimized. You may later go back and edit each Strategy accordingly. Once edited, you may save and recalculate the simulation (takes seconds to simulate).
• You may share Strategies or even bits of Strategies with your friends, and participate in group efforts to improve the collective results.
• Once you are happy with your Trading System, you may deploy it as a trading bot and trade live, right within the app, with a single click of a button.
• You may run the app on your machine or a VPS (a server in the cloud). Installation is as simple as it may be: download a .zip file, decompress and run an executable file (.exe). The app will open in your browser.

Two new trading strategies have been released and made open source by the Community:

The Weak-hands Buster is a BTC strategy designed to multiply your bitcoin during bear or consolidating markets: it sells bitcoin when the market starts going south and re-buys bitcoin when price stabilizes, getting you more bitcoin than what you started with. Backtest results show an impressive 549% ROI in BTC during 2018 and 106% ROI in 2019.
