I'm New here but I've been into crypto since 2016. I faced this today but I was not scammed. But I think I should share it here because I know many might also get to face this later because of what it relates to. There is a Fake Exchange now which is http://jetxcoins.com. This exchange is being used by scammers to make you deposits 0.02 btc and after then you won't be able to withdraw any. I notice that this exchange is new and scam after someone contacted me on Telegram and asking me for help. To help him withdraw, showing me several screenshot as proof of him not being able to withdraw from the exchange. I was willing to help at the beginning but I later use my senses and put my heart at one side. Then, i realised its scam. How will you be tricked to deposit 0.02 btc? This is how it will happen Someone will contact you saying he is having problem withdrawing from the exchange because his country was restricted. So he will ask for your help to make new account with the exchange so that he can send the btc to you. And Yes. You will receive some btc after signing up and giving him your email He will ask you to withdraw to your btc wallet but you won't be able to withdraw because you need to deposit 0.02 btc to be able to trade or withdraw. If you deposit a dime, Count them as gone or say bye bye to them. This site is http://jetxcoins.com

I see no community support and only online support available, and I think that was indeed designed for fraud. Not only exchanges, I have also been asked to help on gambling sites with the same reason as you, so for the future, we must be more careful before doing anything.

Exactly, we must be careful before doing anything. Wow betting sites also. Well, I'm not really into betting sites so I never know there is betting sites fraud. But now I know About the exchange, he sent me 0.38 btc which I wanted to return to him but what I got is your account is frozen . Means I still have to deposit 0.02 eth to return his money. The exchange is well designed to for fraud.

Actually before I will deposit on a exchange for trading I would look into the web for opinions or review with that exchange. There are lots of fake exchange (fake volume also) and its better to always be alert , look deeper on exchange if it has credibility, support

Sorry but something does not add up here. Are you implying that the person who will contact you via telegram is part of the scam? If so, I don't see the point why he/she needs to send you btc to be withdrawn because no one would be stupid enough to deposit their own fund just to help someone else. And Yes. You will receive some btc after signing up and giving him your email How much did you get after signing up?

So it means he probably have access to the to do some things without the owner of the account being aware. I hope you know that being one of the admin of any website may give you access to somethings. So he will just need to send or generate some amount of virtual btc to my account via the email I used to signup. This will make me deposit btc to the wallet attached to my account (His Wallet attached to my account) Because I want to withdraw them. And I will be happy to deposit lower amount of btc to get higher amount. 0.02 for 0.38. Means I giving out original amount of btc for just numbers. And for signing up, I got nothing

Oh well, this is one scams that has been prevalent in the last couple of months, together with crypto trading signal scams and give away scams so I'm not surprise that they will pull an act like this.
What bothers me though is that people are still believing in this kind of trick though. Anyways, at least the OP has given the community a fair warning and I do hope that those who are reading this won't be a victim.

I'm not familiar with that exchange anyway and why would you trust a random exchange without checking their reputation first? A lot of reputable exchanges existed already yet somehow someone bothered to interact and still fall for it without doing any background check of the said exchange site.

Before using an exchange check their reputation and tenure if the exchange is quite new, doubt it. This jetxcoins.com is been created to deceive innocent people but at the same that only greedy people will listen to people's idea of giving out free bitcoin if you help them, nothing is for free in this world unless you work hard for it,the path you gonna choose is your choice to make

You are welcome. And yes. New users might fall into the trap thats why I posted this. I have brothers and friends who can easily fall into the trap and I think new users here might also benefit from the experience. You are welcome again.

Guys, be careful, Cobinhood also turned into a scam exchange. Cobinhood wasn´t a small exchange like jetxcoins and even though they robbed people and still accepting deposits .

I'm glad Most of the time, greediness is what makes human susceptible to this kind of trap. I mean it's pretty obvious that this a sca, but when they did the supposedly amount that they can get, all logical thinking is thrown out of the windows that's why up to this time, those scammers are still in this market, and hitting us at our sweet spot because they know the psychology behind human's nature. Let that be a expensive lessons for them to learn. But this is going to be cyclical here, when someone learn from their past mistakes, another noob come into the picture and be the next victim here.

Am glad you used your senses to play safe else you will be blaming yourself for trying to help. I have been contacted many times by those scammers but not this website, and it's still the same format they used; that is, helping them to withdraw while promising an attractive reward capable of blinding the person from the truth. In my own opinion, since exchange is all about our funds I see it wise taking all neccessary steps to ensure we are protected; that is, no matter the exchange, try searching for its presence on Telegram etc to be sure you are on the right track. Scammers keeps looking for ways to defraud people and we will also be updating ourselves with all neccessary steps, with the first step being to be careful to the type of messages we reply to on Telegram.

This is funny, as I was chatted by about 2 of those fraudsters last week and they used the same format. The truth is newbies will fall for this as well as those who are greedy because what they promised is mouthwatering. Owing to the way telegram is nowadays, it is necessary for everyone to be careful and mind the people we chat it, no wonder many projects are now moving to discord. Nevertheless, am happy you were wise and wish many will come across this post and learn as well.

come on, this is one of the oldest tricks on the book... if you answer random messages on telegram, you are asking for it... Thank you for your post, it is important that people realise that this is no joke... and informed people are harder to trick! Information will be the end of these scams
