I never believe the statement we gamble for fun. Just think of a gambling website that don't pay you, and you can play without spending as well. Well, gamblers are dont mind what they are about losses. Most of them are happy to see if they win, even it is almost covered their previous losses. I am guessing you won that $100 then you played it back which resulted in you losing $50, and that's the number one mistake you made. When you won, you should have withdrawn your winning and not putting it back cause its more like being greedy.

It's not addiction, it's entertainment! He loses very small amount of money and win big, although that will not cover all the loses but as long as he enjoy the game it doesn't matter! but that's not Bigger than what OP is asking mate,you only won 100$ thats why ypu are not that happy,but if you get at least 2000$ and above for sure you will forget(for short time)every losses and will enjoy that happiest moment because it is our mind that will dictates what would our feelings for a certain time
