I'd like to ask the community, is your expectation close to the reality that we've experiencing right now?

No, it's not close enough but then I realize, I was just also getting hype with a great news in the first half of the year, and the price that we are witnessing now is something to enjoy actually because it's a great improvement compared to the rice of BTC at the start of the year.

Good things will come to those who waits, that's the famous sayings and that's what I follow when investing here in crypto.
The market is moving well, I won't complain about that as I will stay here even 20 years more and I'm sure at that time, there will be a lot of new ATH that will be created.

I'd like to ask the community, is your expectation close to the reality that we've experiencing right now?

After reading news and articles way back the early months, with regards to four year cycle of Bitcoin theory, I can say the Bitcoin market is close to what I expected.  We have seen an essential increase of its price from 3k USD to the current price.  I expected that Bitcoin will be around 15k to 20k USD at the end of the year and it is somehow 2/3 - 1/2 of the what I am expecting and it is still several months before the year ends.

With regards to altcoin market, I thought it will significantly recover its market value but then I was wrong.  It is still far from the prices of 2017.  Ethereum for example, it is still less than 1/4 of its ATH.

Yeah, then this bull run has started i believe in new btc ATH. But 10k fine too. Much better than it was before

Expectations are sometimes meet when it comes to price but it is more likely the negative one if you always expect for something like risking all youve got because you expect that it will go higher and its not in the end.

I don't want to speculate,  but according the ATH history of cryptocurrency are always happening one years after bitcoin halving. You can see the moment at 2013 and 2017 right? All of them are jumping so crazy. So we just to wait after 2020.

I expect it to increase this year, but not getting into ATH, Bitcoin price has either SLOW or FAST price changes, it might take months or a day before a great dump or pump. All we have to do is to have patience and spend coins for great use. Expectations are kind of disappointing, usually when you are into trading.

I hope no more bleeding in altcoin for next year and bitcoin can stable at $15k area. But, we don't know what happen next about crypto industry, we known everything can work and no one has expected that will happen. I don't expect 2020 will break new ATH anymore, but I think it will stable price, let see what next.

Before 2019 end, Bitcoin price will be 50,000 USD each or even better.

Reality: we are still waiting for the bull run and 20,000 is impossible this year.

Bitcoin price will reach more than double of 20,000 USD like before ( 2017 ).

Reality: Expect the unexpected!

This year, I don't have a big expectation for cryptocurrency because I realize that the crypto market has been down for a long time. And even if the crypto market can rise again, it will need more than 1 year to come back to the high price like before. That makes me only waiting while I still trying to trade with many pairs just hope that I can survive and pass on this moment. That is hard for every people who involve in the crypto market, but I am sure that we can pass this and we will make another big profit.

But I am happy to see the crypto market can increase for a little than the last year so I could back to hope to see the crypto market will be rise again. Soon or later, we will see everything will be back to the price before, and we will see more people who will join in the cryptocurrency. We will see the adoption process will grow fast from this year and the next years.

But we still need to be careful with the negative news that will still come out, and that will make our expectations negative too. We don't want to see another down of the price in the market.

I'm pretty sure majority here expect 2019 to be a bigger year than what we've had back 2017, we all thought another all-time high is looming, but the reality is we are stuck to the $10k - $13k , honestly I'm surprised, there's a lot of great news and halving is just around the corner.

Mcafee even predicted that Bitcoin will worth $1 million next year, so the price should be moving up.

We need to wait little bit longer. This bear market is the longest one in the crypto history, atleast for altcoins. But I believe that the following bull market will be also the biggest.

In 2019, just a few months and seeing the development of altcoin this year, I agree that altcoin will probably happen in 2020. But seeing the cryptocurrency market cap market value is still under $ 300 billion and this is more than 50% lower than the highest market cap value , in my opinion altseason will still occur in some altcoins that might be in the top 100

the start of 2019 was (nearly) the start of bitcoin price recovery so that created some expectation (wrong ones at that) from people thinking altcoins should follow bitcoin but they were missing the fact that altcoins have never followed bitcoin. they always go the opposite way and dump down.
that is why those who had that false expectations were disappointed.

Base on my expectation for the BTC price it was exceeded, But on the Altcoins side it was not! But for the sake of fairness 2019 is not yet finish the 4th quarter of the year was about to begin in few days lets wait and see maybe more extra ordinary will happen on the market like what happen in 2017 thats how crypto works it surprise us all maybe in positive or negative results.

Not really. When I saw how bitcoin quickly began to rise in price, I was delighted because I decided that altcoins would soon follow Bitcoin. However, at the moment, the behavior of altcoins is not amenable to my conclusions and forecasts. So I'm a little upset.

I don’t really think about what will happen by the end of the year. Trading takes place at any price of bitcoin. Of course, the market growth would please me, but I do not want to reassure myself that I would later regret anything. Most likely there will not be a big spurt in prices like two years ago.

I have a very large expectations and I guess I set the bar a little too high and so my expectations has not been met yet but I have full confidence that it's just a matter of time, the crypto space is changing and things are moving very fast right now and I believe that the positive change we are all hoping for is just right around the corner.
