Low End Box has several discounted VPS plans, most running Linux but some with Windows too.
However, I quickly
discovered the cheap ones are unreliable, most likely due to overselling. If possible, test them for a month before buying them for a year.
The next thing I discovered is that my Bitcoin Core just stopped running without error message within a few seconds. The reason and workaround is described
here:
The minute the service provider sees the bitcoin daemon running they kill it.
The article is for Bitcoin Cash, but applies to Bitcoin too. I used the solution described in that article to get it working (but the VPS was still unreliable, so I got rid of it).
