Hey!

I've created Lapps, a platform where you can discover, vote and comment on new Lightning Network apps.

The goal is to spread awareness of the development being done on top of the Lightning Network, promoting the places where you can use LN.

If you have a Lightning Network wallet and are looking for cool things to do on Lightning, check it out!

Visit it at: Lightning Network apps

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

I like the site's concept, except that as more services get added, the list will be harder to browse so I would suggest you implement some filters.

The only lightning network app that I know is Eclair wallet. However, it is not in your list.
Actually, I can't find any wallet there.

How are people supposed to use those apps without a wallet? I really think you should add some wallets. Eclair is the only lightning network wallet I have ever use, so I cannot recommend any other.

Thanks! Will be working on adding categories and tags as well as ways to help you filter using those.

A wallets section is currently in the works, aiming to get it live next week!

I liked the idea and the design of the site but the point is the content, you need more effort to develop the content.

What is your algorithm for ranking sites? I mean that the arrangement through voting will be easy to manipulate, especially registration requires only a Twitter account. I wish to add more complexity.

The site does not contain any links to any (platform/wallet) or explain more detailed info.

The apps are ranked by the number of votes they have. Each user can only vote once per Twitter account. No issues so far with vote spamming.

A wallet section is being worked on, I want it to offer easy filtering/browsing capabilities so I'm spending some extra time on it.

Update: Lapps.co now has Lightning Authentication - you can login with your Lightning wallet, no email or password required.

I'm also working a section dedicated to Lightning wallets which I think will be great to onboard new users! Stay tuned.

A discussion dedicated to Lightning Wallets would be great!
I've been looking at some (done some basic payments on Blue Wallet) it works great once you have your BTC in there (they outsource that bit and it's a bit clunky, but that's to prevent money laundering, so maybe no bad thing?)

After reading up fairly extensively on how the Network actually works I haven't been able to work out how a collection of multi-sig payments can look like a Lightning Wallet - surely the Wallet owners either have to be able to match the liquidity for each transaction or somehow allow topups to existing channels?  I'm trying to figure out the business model operates before getting too deep into planning anything!  Does anyone else here have any experience or know where this type of question can be answered?
