New Sig Spammer/Blacklist (Clean start for all)

I had my old list up for almost 3 years now and while it's not a huge list, it is big enough that I forget why half of the users have even been added to it. Old list can be found BLACKLIST.

In the spirit of forgive and forget, I would like to give 99.9% of the users of the forum a fresh start. The new list will contain users from the most recent payouts who were banned for various reasons, mainly spamming/burstposting.

I will be keeping separate lists in this thread as well. I don't want to have the same problem as I do now and forget why I even added someone to the lists. I also will only review accounts that are on the spamming/burstposting list. All other lists are permanent. They will get no review nor have a chance to be removed.

With the New DT system we have, it's quite possible to see lots of users tagged by new DT users from the past who may not have revised their ratings yet. Also, some users just don't understand the trust system and do a lot of retaliatory tagging. Each person who applies with a tag will be reviewed regardless to see if they can still qualify for a campaign.

The lists will be divided into 3 groups.
-Spammers/Burstposters- These users are eligible for a review after 3 months of being added to the list. Everyone can change their posting habits but I think they need a cooling off period to prove themselves. Staying inactive for 3 months once put on the list, will not get you off the list.

Burstposting definition- A person that makes a posts then 1-5 minutes later makes another, and another, and another. I will not add someone here for burstposting if they have 1 post right after another every once in awhile. Sometimes a person reads the forum and makes a reply, then sees another topic they have a constructive reply for, but if quite a few of your posts are 1 right after the other, then you'll find yourself here.

-Cheaters- These users will be on their own list for being caught cheating in campaigns. Adding their alts, abusing giveaways sites may hold, etc. If you have an account enrolled in a campaign already and apply with an alt as well to the same campaign, I consider that scummy as hell and attempted cheating. You will be blacklisted.

-Scammers & Rule breakers- These users will also have their own list. These users may not have even enrolled into a campaign, but have been caught scamming. I will frequently check the scam accusations section for users where the evidence proves them guilty. Anyone who is ban evading will also make this list.

-Assholes- All around assholes will be added as well, I don't have to deal with abusive users and will not. Signature campaigns are a privilege not a right. These are the lost causes.

Flagged accounts have no shot at getting into a campaign. I am speaking of only regular tags when I say neg trusted users.

As I can see a neg tag on Astargath profile from yahoo, he has attempted to cheat Mintdice signature campaign with his alt account Bardman. You can see both the user in the list.

I was sent a pm with the 2 accounts in that list connected with each other. Now take a look at MintDice sig campaign and you'll see Astargath is in the campaign(was at least) and Bardman recently applied.

Sir yahoo have been very effect, just and straight forward in his management system, he don't just tag user for unjust reason like other DT member does so any one that is tag by yahoo the whole community have to be careful about that account. And again sir yahoo I applaud you on the 99.9% forgiveness on your old blacklisted users indeed in the spirit of forgiveness there is always mercy.

It didn't need to be validated, someone sent him a PM with the proof as they were attempting to cheat a campaign he was managing. You could always use that in the list of Alts thread or something, maybe it gets tied to others who knows.

Yahoo, good on you. It's always nice to see fresh starts and allowing people to see the result of changing shit behaviors. You are being real generous as I believe you busted a campaign cheater just a couple months back and left them off the list. I'm guessing people should still realize they aren't guaranteed acceptance now, and could always wind up back on the shitlist. I'm sure there are other managers who appreciate you keeping a public listing.

In some cases I also fit in this criteria but I do not think it's what I intend to do. I am online most of the time. I have notifications on almost for all the boards. I also have notification on for some topics I follow. So making few quick posts is basically a very normal occurrence for me.

That's very generous of you, the decision is good for forgiving spamming/burstposting since a member can learn from his mistake and he can also improve if he wish to be accepted in your campaign again. This decision of your may bring new culture in this forum. Its been a feeling here that once you are in the "Bad List" of any DT Member, you will always have to remain there. It seems like a Jail with no bail

It is indeed rare--but I betcha that if the members of the old list are still active here, they'll eventually start pulling the same crap.  Maybe that's me being pessimistic, but a lot of shitposters just don't have it in them to make well thought out posts and to not post-burst, etc.

In any case, there aren't a hell of a lot of signature campaigns around anymore anyway, are there?  I have the Services section on ignore, but last I checked there were only a handful of them--and from what I've heard there aren't even that many bounties around either.  So the forgiveness might actually be somewhat of a moot point.

Eh, I don't review my tags periodically but if someone PMs me asking to get a negative removed I do listen to their request and will remove a feedback if enough time has passed and there haven't been any further instances of shenanigans.  In fact I did exactly that for a member about 3 days ago.  But it's been my experience that most negs members earn probably deserve to stay put.

There are spammers here and there who are always complaining about this system and its a general perception that DT members are rude and never listen to the people. You reviewed a member 3 days ago and probably remove the tag if he had improved. No one in the forum knew about it. 

There is always a black listing and spammer listing thing everywhere. Will it be good if you people also list the members whom you got their tag removed and they have become better .

But it will create some chaos into his PM,people will start PMing him about to review their tags and convincing them to remove it which may kill DT members time.

That won't help either because then everyone would spam the thread to review their tags.

There could be an automated system whereby a button appears in front of the tag after certain time period (e.g 3 months) and a request can be sent to the person who gave the tag to be reviewed. If he request is declined the next and final review button will appear after 6 months. Something like this will prevent the spam and also help those who want to improve themselves.
