Help me if I am misunderstanding this but...

1) the picture starts out unrecognizable

2) there is 0.00BTC to win

3) someone has to pay BTC to enlarge it

4) even if they guess it, they only get 80% of their original payment back?

Unless I'm missing something here, doesn't that mean the first depositor is always a loser?

The hope is that several people will all make small donations. You could use dailybitcoins.org or the faucet to donate without being the first depositor if you wanted, but the goal is for several small donations to build up the pot. Donate a few bitcents and get the ball rolling.

The hope is that several people will all make small donations. This idea is only a day old. We're already working on ways to improve it. Your concern is one that will be addressed. You could use dailybitcoins.org or the faucet to donate without being the first depositor if you wanted, but the goal is for several small donations to build up the pot. Donate a few bitcents and get the ball rolling.

Why not get the ball rolling by offering the bitcents as a pot to begin with?
