It is possible, if most of online transaction are regulated by cryptocurrency however, this will take time to happen though. The fact that anonymity gives more advantages and favorable to the users since their transaction cannot be tracked down so their identity is away from the sight of public. Yeah, KYC on gambling site is tedious job especially when laws regarding gambling are stringent in your country. In my country, we can't claim deductions on gambling income and we have to pay flat hefty taxes on such income. But good thing with crypto gambling is that authorities will never know which income is from gambling and which from other sources which save lot of taxes for me.

I think that online gambling sites would still have an option to have fiat as their currency since not all gamblers have cryptocurrency. If all yhe website will be crypto based, this might become a hassle to some of the players since cryptocurrency might not be allowed in their country. So, fiat based currency gambling sites would remain.

There is a reason why many casinos accept several different currencies and that is because they want to capture as many people as they can, so it will be a mistake for traditional casinos to accept only cryptocurrencies even if bitcoin became the dominant form of money in the future, as long as there is still fiat around you can be sure they will accept it since they are not going to want to limit themselves to cryptocurrencies and lose customers just because they do not accept fiat.

I don't think there's any kind of interference by the government that would stop crypto gambling from dominating the gambling world in the nearest 5 years. It's very visible that cryptocurrency is leading the market and most owner of gambling sites already know this and are now cooperating with it.

Crypto gambling industry is indeed increasing year to year, we can hope to see more new gambling sites come in the future but to see all gambling sites are based on cryptocurrency will not happen as I have said previously unless all countries legalize crypto as the main currency to replace fiat. Do not expect too much while not all countries are supporting crypto as a currency. That's the advantage of crypto, you don't have to do complicated conditions to deposit and play games. just deposit using crypto and you can play right away. The process involved with depositing of funds to the gambling websites wallet in terms of cryptocurrency is very simple compared to the process involved in funding the account through fiat payments. From my view more than 90% gamblers after using cryptocurrencies into gambling hasn't used fiat for funding the accounts. Well yes, probably. In my side, I won't gamble using my fiat because it is required you to pass KYC and that is involved in your personal identity. I think it is good if we still remain anonymous in an online gambling site as a being gambler. I guess not all gambling sites will make their's to be crypto-based.
There might be a lot of them that will consider it and might even do it, but not all gamblers are using cryptocurrencie, so there will still that will remain to be fiat based.
