We shouldn't be quick to jump into conclusion due to small up rise flow of some altcoin. It's not yet time for altcoin season cos bitcoin price keeps fluctuating below $10k, which will not allow altcoin season to take place. Better still yet let's expect a big movement of all altcoin next year

Yes, that's right but so many people are only taking the conclusion before they try to do deep research about the market. Bitcoin now is getting another downtrend which already affected the whole of cryptocurrencies. Beartrap is real and it's happening yesterday.
This comes to a conclusion if we have not yet reached the bottom floor for bitcoin and it may have another chance to go down again.

Yes, you are right, we don't see any recovery as yet. Still, the altcoin is facing a downturn in the market and it is impossible to predict the prices. The fluctuation of Bitcoin is effecting the altcoin price and now there is no chance of recovery at this condition.

why it’s not possible to predict the price of Bitcoin, I think that this can be done in a certain corridor. I am sure that the price of Bitcoin this year will be in the range of 6000-14,000 dollars. Based on liquidity and trading volumes, prices for cryptocurrency assets can be determined.

As I see, everything is worse now than it was expected several days ago, although it seems that these are the temporary declines. The so-called "altcoin season" might not come this year. We can wait for something like that after the Ethereum 2.0 launch (many tokens depend on ETH). Now, the time to hold has come definitely. if you are not sure how to trade these days, better wait.

I am eagerly waiting for the Ethereum 2.0 also because Ethereum has actually been the main reason why the ico industry boomed in 2017 but now that they have really lost it a bit, I hope that the their new upgrade will actually deal with lots of issues that has been making the altcoins dyeing and this time around also, I hope that they will be a little bit strict with their policies guying the registration of these projects even if they promise to deliver a full decentralized platform.

I don’t really see the bull run for altcoins actually coming this year also, as the major platforms that will act has catalyst such as this Ethereum update, Facebook coin and other will be till next year also, we just have to accept our fate this year already as lost opportunities till next year when majority of these altcoins will be revived again.

The market cannot be controlled because there are many factors that can make prices change. like the news in crypto is quite sensitive and also the graph of the downward trend that occurs quite deep

Yes me too, I am waiting for ETH 2.0 to see whether will it bring us a significant boost or probably change our current trend. But comparing it with the time once ETH launched their ICO system is quite overestimated. Because this ETH 2.0 does not discover anything new only boosting and upgrading its system.

so many projects are struggling right now, and some of them are deciding to close their platform because of this massive bear. I just hope, even if we are not seeing a bull run this year. At least we can stabilize the price and does not make any huge downward movement. It is very painful to watch and to bear

I think it would be wrong to talk about a lower bull season right now if there wasn't any movement in the Alts during the recent long immobility of Bitcoin. When the price of Bitcoin decreases, it can be mentioned that the increase of coins on bitcoin basis, which did not experience a big decrease.

I don't think the altcoin season has started yet. These ascents may be a sign of a mini bull but it's too early to call it altcoin season.
Marketcap value falling, bitcoin price remains uncertain withdrawing money from the marketcap. Bitcoin dominance is still over 70% I don't think the altcoin season will come under these conditions.

Bitcoin prices had to do sideways for days for altcoin to achieve this pump. I am more worried nowadays that the dumps are outweighing the pumps. Because in a situation where you buy a 1usd and it pumps to 20 percent today and dumps 25 percent tomorrow, if you didn't take profit, then you are now at a loss of 5 percent..while we wait for a sustained altcoin bull, we have to be smart now that the crypto landscape has adjusted

People are too much expecting to see for another bull run this year but some of us also getting into desperate because we'd fail again. Though we think that the market isn't cooperating us cause they're not actually. It is not crypto that we have to blame for this long bearish season but actually, it is us and it is all about crypto adoption which is not really strong to give the market a strike going up.

Last 2017 huge pumps because it plays with hypes but it is something missing today. And I hope that we will understand the situation and accept the reality.

a significant increase from ALT does not necessarily indicate that the season has begun.
I think that is selling and buying from market demand because on the previous days they all went down, this is when they went up.

There is no such thing as altcoins season. the last ATH was way different at 2018. People were stupid throwing money at projects trying to solve nothing. Not gonna happen again. just very few selective altcoins will see new ATHs.

There's really no mainstream usage of altcoins, besides maybe XRP for moneygram purposes. All other coins are just "securities". I mean they're literally just stealing bitcoin's inherent value and giving nothing back in return except lambos and luxury yachts for ICO investors. Just look at Kucoins and their coin offerings. Prime example of dumpster fire is DENT. they rose so high, and now are almost getting near just 1-2 satoshi value! Along with it their "XRP army" shills whom invested over $20,000 will basically suffer if this coin doesn't grow legs. the recent LTC chat leaks and the eventual downfall of ETH as it transitions for staking spell the end of these "sentimental value coins".

All of us hope Altcoin season will arrive soon, but I don't see that happening anytime soon because market conditions are still in a Bearish trend, It takes time for the Bullish in the next few months, especially after Halving Bitcoin happened in 2020.

Bullish trend are caused by the bulls, and it only take minutes for a bull to make decision to invest in the market out of whatever reason that made him to do so, so you may not see the sign now, but that does not mean it cannot happen at any time.

Kindly take your memory back to April, when many of us started predicting when bitcoin will recover and some of us started thinking towards the year ending, but suddenly, without us ever making any form of expectation, the whole market of bitcoin made a U-turn and the value just started rising, and that is how we got out of the bear of bitcoin temporarily, I think that the bulls are actually prepared to enter the market, but there must be a factor that will encourage them to actually do so which is what we all need to pray and hope for now.
