I heard some rumor that a new board coming out for these chips is in the works, so I’m putting together this thread to assess interest levels, these chips are are fast, delivering 600GH or more! http://peppermining.com/

So the aim is to get a decent price through volume.

Right now this thread is for registering interest to see if it’s even worth doing, the plan is to automate this as much as possible, so post if you are interested Smiley

Many thanks for reading and happy mining to you all Smiley

A trusted person just pointed out this post to me https://bitcointalk.org/?topic=497737.0%3ball  Please read at least some of it before embarking on this group buy with me.

My take is; I know the chips exist and work because they are in the wild and people are hashing with them. I will endeavor to do my utmost to ensure no one gets harmed here, but as always Caveat Emptor.

Well I've recieved more negative feedback than positive so far Sad and to be honest it's really making me reconsider my position on this group buy.  At the very least think i will try to use bitrated.com for security, but I doubt HF will agree to that.

I like the fact that Mr Teal of the BFL chip based chili is involved, I believe he has the pedegree and experience to deliver a working product for these chips.

I sympathise with the people still waiting for hardware from HF, I can do that as I am one of them Sad However I am also someone who waited along time for BFL hardware. Pre orders suck! What else can i say. The flip side of that is, that with out the pre orders we wouldnt have the variety of chips and accellerated growth that we have seen over the last year.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=263848.0

Anyway if no positive posts or further interest is given I guess I will have to walk away from this project Sad

ps.
I've built a form for this so i might as well post it!

If Hashfast fails to deliver, as they're currently doing for may customers— including yourself, I believe— how will you make your buyers whole? You should also be aware that there are people currently suing hashfast and this may result in making it harder for them to deliver. You should also be aware that HF has a history of unilaterally changing terms and claiming that not adopting their new terms voids all their obligations.

Does your "Caveat Emptor" mean that if Hashfast does not deliver you will do nothing?

Beyond my basic moral reservations with giving more funds to a company who is currently ripping so many people off— I suggest that instead of just collecting funds from people and give them to the black hole of fraudulent behavior that is hasfast you collect funds into escrow (e.g. with bitrated.com) and only pay hashfast on delivery.

If you are planning on any deal/purchase that involves sending bitcoin to Hashfast, please do your research.  In the world of bitcoin investing, there are speculative risky investments, and then there are stupid ways of throwing away your bitcoin.

Please take the time to determine for yourself which one this would be.

I have ballparked an estimate for $700-$900 per chip for my calculations it depends on volume and i will update as soon as I can.
