Inserting an image using IOS

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help.
I can’t seem to insert an image/photo etc in my posts. I’ve had a good look at all the relevant topics and every which way I try it , it doesn’t work . I use IOS iPad for bitcointalk , and was wondering if I’m missing something obvious, or if it’s impossible to do , or do I need to buy copper membership. I’m not the most tech savvy , so hopefully I’m just missing something stupidly obvious .

You're a member, so you don't have to buy a copper membership. The device you're using is irrelevant, simply use the img tags and insert the picture's URL in-between (with the extension at the end):

Hi , thanks for your help , but still can’t seem to do it ?? If I take a screenshot or a photo from library and copy it or drag it,it just doesn’t give me the option to insert between the img tags ! Sorry for being a numpty !

You cannot copy nor drag the image here. You need to upload it to an external image site (such as imgur), and then copy the link onto your OP in a format such as that above.

i.e.

[center][img width=1000 height=600]https://i.imgur.com/KrojgnZ.png[/img][/center]

KrojgnZ.png would be the image to post, as provided by imgur once loaded there.

You can then adjust the position (left, center, right) and size (width, height) to your needs on your post here.

2. Click upload and the drag and drop the image
3. When upload, right click the image and “Copy url of image”

That is the gallery. Go inside the gallery to select your image.

You should see something like this:

Copy the BBCode link and adjust size and position on your post as needed.

The above is your image. Quote this post to see the code.

Like I said, you need to right click the image and copy its URL (which ends with a image extension like .png or .jpg) and not Imgurl’s page link.

Just follow these steps :

- Visit https://imgur.com/
- Click New Post.
- Choose Photo Or Video.
- Upload Your Photo.
- You need to point to picture / Click to 3 dots / Get share links.
- Copy BBCode (Forums) link.
- Post to forum.

On imgur app - the only option I have is “ copy link” - so when I paste this as I post , I get this -

You mean the iOS app? Long press-hold the image and select “Copy post link”, put it between the img tags as I said above. It needs to end with the file extension (png, jpg...).
