I think sometimes we just want to explore games and I understand this feelings well. In most cases having the opinion of others is all what we need and that is exactly what the poster is doing. The funny thing about this is that no amount of recommendation would ever be enough to quench this thirst or hunger lol.  

I think it is even better to take a break, come back to the old games you have always known and played and you start to find it interesting again.  What causes this kind of feelings is mostly over familiarity with games and it happens more often with people who spend a lot of time on games. I don't believe in gambling as a game of chance. If that is what it is all about? I am sure a lot of people won't be gambling by now.
