How many crypto exchanges are really required?

I believe this is a just a way of getting more and more money out of the people. This field is mostly on the go and remains unregulated, and the developers don’t care to solve this problem of complication instead make it more and more complicated. Just be careful before submitting any of your information.

It´s a free maket, anyboy could open a company, even an exchange, be good at it, and make a profittable company, and a excellent company is totally different.
Why we should have more?
Because we should no trust exchange at all, just: deposit, trade, withdraw, fast as the flash.

Just try to stick only to reputable exchanges. Most projects require new exchanges because the top exchanges won’t allow them to enter the market mainly because they are shitcoins, that is the reason why I don’t invest in exchanges other the top ones.

the only reason I use small exchanges is for the selling my coins that I earned in the bounty campaign. as a rule, such coins do not immediately go to large exchanges

It is clear from the viewpoint of bounty hunters to dump the bounty rewards in the small exchanges but they don't care about the future plans of the project which they are responsible to promote this project as a bounty hunter. Wating for the listing on the big exchanges, so I don't think we have a right to blame the bounty hunters for their quick selling decision. If they ever had a another choice, at least half of these bounty hunters should go for that selection.

Last year there were so many ICO with the exchange as their platform in the tradition of Kucoin and Binance but out of ten I've seen none of them gets the attention that the top exchanges are enjoying, sure some of them are funded but until now all they can update investors are they are testing their platform.
We need exchanges more of it for adoption but unless these new exchange can give something better than the top exchanges has been giving they will be left out in the competition.

To have so many accounts at the same time is such a pain the ass indeed, we need to remember each account's details and credentials but there's no other way than that. All these exchanges exist to give all those project some space to compete and there's definitely nothing wrong with that. Many of them are also decentralized exchange which known as the starting point of many ethereum based project which just at the early stage on making their token goes public.
If i'm asked are those many exchanges is really a necessity? I'd say it is, because too few exchange will lead on the exchange themselves taking advantages of their dominance and charging ridiculous amount of fee for just listing

I dont know either why there are many exchange projects in crypto, but we should not using too many exchanges.
For me, i just enough to using 3 or 4 exchanges for arbitrage trading. More exchanges won't make more volume on the crypto market, only spread the volume.

You are hunting those new tokens everywhere that's the reason why you are creating accounts in every exchange, but for someone who doesn't care that much about those shitcoins he only stick to the reputable exchanges as there is no need to risk money on those new exchanges that can steal your money or not allowing to get your asset out. I personally like the quality over quantity, however it wouldn't hurt having large of exchange to choose from as in Forex market.

To change my currencies I do not complicate my life, I have only three exchanges for that and I use my desk wallets to store my coins, the exchange I use most is Tradesatoshi for having a low limit to operate and many shitcoin, in addition to strong currencies.

Yeah , there a lots of exchange available. And the problem is that when we invest in a project most of them are go to a new exchange. There is a reason for that. Cause most of the big exchange have a very big amount of listing fees. And they pick only trusted and good projects. At this point we don't need many exchanges but at some point its needed also.

Depends on your strategy either you use one or not fpr you trading works, meaning the crypto currency is continue to progress because they more exchange competitors they more choices. But take care choosing excha ge to avpid harm and scam just learn it well specially the new newly exchnage.

Lets resume like this : More coins are launching every month so they cannot be listed on top exchanges for 2 main reasons :
1. They don't have the money to pay for listing
2. Even if they have the money for listing, most of the top exchanges won't list them anyway.

This leads to the next step for both new coins and new exchanges :
1. New coins are looking for new exchanges in order to make a deal
2. New exchanges are looking for traffic , new traders, volume and new coins.
All of this cause new demands for new exchanges and lets not forget that we're currently experience increasing volume on decentralized exchanges.

Crypto industry is growing fast and new projects and exchanges are coming every day, when you check CMC you will see different projects are listed in different exchanges,this is the reasons way we need to create new account in different exchanges,So create account in different exchange is not compulsory, crate your account as per your requirements.

Of course, there is no sense in such a large numbers of exchanges. Now there is a competition for leadership in this market, so such a large number of exchanges are created. I think that over time they will become much less.

I stick to what I know. You only really need to use exchanges that cover the coins you trade and earn if you do the bounty. New IEO will force you to signup but then you will have it on trade at that exchange which is a good thing. There is really no reason to change exchanges once you find the ones that work for you. I can only think of better trading rates. I myself am a bit scared to change exchanges and will rather pay higher rates with an exchange that I have been using for a long time then risk losing my deposit with a new exchange, though I do think new exchanges do deserve  chance I just approach them with a lower volume then normal to test the waters and their withdraw system.

Currently there are too many exchanges, on the top of the CMC appeared new exchanges with very large trading volumes, The problem is that the trading volume is mostly fake. The more new exchanges, the more fake volumes, this is a challenge for newbies to choose.

%90 of the exchanges in the market should not even exist. They show fake volume, fake users, fake orders and most of them are using bots. Nobody uses them. The biggest ones should remain so more people can use them and it would create bigger volumes for the community.

Yes, we only need around 5 Exchanges for worldwide and 1 exchange for every country to limit the spread.
Just if we can remove an existing and unuseable exchange and create a new one with a new model or improvement of our current exchange. That would be nice.
we need a new exchange, but the prerequisite is they are giving us improvement and replacing an old one.
There are so many exchanges out there, but not all of them are improving their system for months.

Two exchangers with good volume is enough in market to trade most of the developments coins but now in market we see many crypto ex changers with very less volume

We don't even need any exchanges at all. FIAT on-ramps sure, because it makes it easy to move money into the crypto market.

All these centralized exchanges are toxic for the crypto sphere as it puts a lot of people at risk. We've seen so many exchanges exit-scamming, getting hacked, delisting assets left and right.

There is no doubt in my mind that decentralized exchanges will take over at some point, once the crypto community get's tired of all of this. Blocknet's DEX solution works excellent, and was the first working DEX on the market. Once the crypto community matures, and realizes how important security is, I'm sure more and more people will trade this way.

We dont need too much crypto exchange for trading, just 1 or 2 exchanges is ok for me.
The problem is not about how many but how good is the exchange.
if we using good exchange, we will be able to trading with real volume and not wash trading / fake volume.
