This is pretty good however we need more exchanges to start trading btc futures because only when lot of exchanges have these futures market manipulations of prices like pumping and dumping would stop. We have heard that recently Wilshire phoenix have created Bitcoin ETF however SEC has delayed it's decision therefore price was dumped. So it's a good headstart but let's see where we will head with these futures.

i think it was a mere coincidence that prices have dumped after bakkt futures have started. i think this dump was due to delayed decision of SEC on ETF. Moreover technicals also validate this bearish phase so I think its normal coincidence. We have recently phased a death crossover on daily chart.

It should probably be a goodthing in the long term but as of now, I dont think its possible to see any positive benefits it can give out. Assuming that it can hold out to the point where it can pull benefits by itself already. It appears quite weak since it really was kind of hyped too much but it should surely bring about benefits if it can stand its ground.

I am excited to see that finally bitcoin futures have started trading at bakkt. This has become a viral topic for bitcoin community as we are expecting a little bit of price increase given this event. But though there was no price increase but it is still a good news. The most important part is that it started and soon the volume of transactions will increase and possibly that will mean a price lift for bitcoin.
