I think shorting LINK was a given because Portnoy started pumping it on his Twitter. Since the coin already doubled a few times in the last few weeks, a pullback was a given. And it lost lots its valued when it went from $20 to $15 and many people are probably traded it on full leverage.

Its a great coin to trade actually, if you look at the charts you had many easy clear technical signals to go long and it had very good volatility and you could of made decent money with it. Its also great because many exchanges support the coin now and has potential for many investors.

3 quarters after posting this and Chainlink Goes Mooning and you are good at it Hope i have read this thread last year so i have idea investing in this coin as it is one of the highest growing currency of our time now.

yes, LINK is already in the moon. today DeFi tokens is blooming and Im one of man seeking next LINK and YFI. however, im not willing to have short position for now. indeed 4h candlestick of LINK/USDT seems the drop-sign, but other short-term ones dont so i think.

But whats on my mind is how long will Defi tokens make this growth?will this be continues or just a Pump and Dump?
I am not that knowledgeable about this Defi project but i have been reading this all over the forum specially here in altcoin section.

It's because BTC drops sharply,  All crypto market are correlated to each other. Even though the chart of $LINK shows a sign of bullish trend last few days, It didn't stop the BTC drop effect.
Right now BTC is consolidating and we still didn't know what's the next move. By using elliot wave on Chainlink price now. We are now testing the correction point C and it needs to break 0.00144BTC price to confirm another bullish trend for them.

You made a good speculation there though it took almost a Year before it falls in the market and now Chainlink is making difference among all currencies.
It did more than large  growth in just a month and now staying in good condition.

I was watching the rally and i was not confident in investing in it as i had no idea when the bubble will be broken, but when the market started correcting chainlink started going down and i will be watching how long it will correct. I have seen many social media channels pumping hard but the correction is pretty obvious with a sudden rise and support from many exchanges does not mean much when there is a major correction .

The fall in LINK's price will not bring it back to its lows because with a market in a positive trend like this, it is very possible for LINK and other DeFi project tokens to be able to keep its price high and stay good. I'm sure the price will still have a chance to reach an all time high which is even higher later when the season actually happens, because even this period is still a process but LINK can achieve that which is certainly a great achievement.

I was not trying to imply that LINK will go back to those levels if it happens to crash, I'm just saying that the current levels are simply unsustainable and that a crash is inevitable and when that happens you do not want to be holding LINK because that we know once a coin like that crashes it all happens in the blink of an eye so to anyone that is investing in that coin make sure that you have a stop loss set in place so you can protect yourself in the case this happens.

^ do not regret the things that have passed, the point is that luck does not exist in everyone. I was surprised by the LINK ROI which reached 9000%, I didn't take Link into account in the first place.

How so? Have you checked chainlink price recently? I don't think it has much room for growth right now. I'm saying so because the marketcap is more than $5 billion in value. I just don't think they're lot of people who will be happy to buy LINK at higher prices. I still remember when breaking $10 was a major milestone for LINK. I'll wait for it to get some corrections before I consider getting a position.
