bitcoin or ethereum are both very good options for purchase, I might say how much money you have, if you have a large amount of money you might be able to buy bitcoin, and if small amounts of money might buy ethereum because the price is low and remains the same as giving profit for bitcoin or ethereum for the owner

I'll put 70% investment in Bitcoin and 30% to ETH. May it sound fair to them?
Because of the impressive market dominance of bitcoin among cryptos, it mostly I could think that this coin is profitable besides, everyone believes it.
What makes Bitcoin too positive looked by and ain't no wondering why people first think about Bitcoin rather than to consider altcoins or even Ethereum.

Very good point, When you see the price of both Bitcoin and Ethereum going down and then it's looking a difficult decision which one you choose, I don't think so, I always on the side of Bitcoin, I Know a lot of potential on the ETH and it's getting also popular and credible around the blockchain system but Bitcoin attracts me more than anything, One thing you should always remind that all of the Altcoin's price and market is fully dependent on the price of Bitcoin, and Ethereum price solely depends on Bitcoin's price also, at the end of 2017, Ethreum price touched a milestone because of the ICO's revolution and which was a different scene, but in recent time, It maintains a proportion rate of decreasing or increasing the price. so the overall decision always goes to the Bitcoin for me.

Yesterday the price of Bitcoin was $9700 and today the price is $8500. Yesterday the price of Ethereum is $200 and today the price is $170. So which coin is prefer to buy?
I don't know which one to buy, because you know that getting profit from coin eth and btc is very difficult, especially for small fund of users. I am even more interested in some coins that have a smaller value but have good potential, for example BNB and TRX. But when viewed from the experts' talk and information that ETH is experiencing a setback while bitcoin will halving in the coming months, so bitcoin might have more potential, if I would choose bitcoin.

It depends on how will you use it. If you're into investment then buy bitcoin since it is good for a long term hodling and if you will use it for payment then choose Ethereum for a lesser fee.

Bitcoin is good for long term investment since the price is soaring up every year and ethereum will follow up to trend but it would take time not like bitcoin. Halving of bitcoin is near so choose wisely.

I don't know why anyone in their right mind would go after Ethereum under current circumstances. The value has dropped by almost 95% from the ATH levels (however, it has recovered recently a bit), and the trade volumes are at all time lows. On top of this, the ICO market is showing no signs of recovery, although Ethereum still maintains it raw monopoly among the platforms (it is still being used by more than 90% of the tokens, with other platforms such as Stellar and Omni trailing behind).
Everyone is all entitled to their own opinion based on the way that their mind can break it down, this is how you are able to interpret Ethereum operation from your own personal view, but we still have other people that will look at it in other ways.

What has happened to most coins is not to be blamed on Ethereum as most altcoins are also victim if it, scammers are to be blamed, they are the ones that tarnished the ico image which I believe that Ethereum too never envisaged, and this circumstances is really beyond their control, until maybe when regulation comes in that can help eliminate some of these terrible scammers.

I don’t support them for once mocking bitcoin, I guess it is just nemesis that is catching up on them which I would say it is good for them, next time, they will learn to focus on their own project rather than discrediting other people's project.

You should definitely go for both of them since these two coins are really profitable. More likely they are the king and the queen in industry. They have the biggest volume among all crypto coins yet most volatile. Basically, these two will provide high return/profit, especially on long term investment. Moreover, one rule of trading is that don't put all the eggs in one basket. Through diversification, your investment will make more safe and secure or earn more profit by chance.

It all depends on your budget you can take your own decision on where to invest, you have to understand the growth potential and how far your investment can go in the next few years and i do not see any vast adoption in ETH, bitcoin is the coin to invest and that is where you can earn the maximum profit if you have the patience to hold for a long time.

Well there is no doubt that both ethereum and bitcoin are really worth it to buy but right now i dont have a huge amount of money that's why i will prefer to buy ethereum and hold it until bull run comes again and i am hoping that before this year will end i can see ethereum hitting $300.
Well, I think a coin that was the reason behind the birth of other coins and that is the whole reason why digital market gets out of downfalls should not be doubted just because some team is not working. If bitcoin disappears today, no one will support ethereum or any other digital currency. Bitcoin has the largest community of supporters and it is already being used at few places for daily financial matters.

If I have a money, I would buy eth, because in 1btc I could buy so many eth there, and with that amount of eth I can do short trade also so that my money will grow little by little, and also with that eth I could buy other altcoins, fees in eth is quite cheaper than in bitcoin , some altcoins are eth based too.

Bitcoin is a good choice if you want to earn profits in the long run and Ethereum is good to be traded in short term (Day Trading) but it will all depends on how good are you when it comes to Trading. Bitcoin's price fluctuation is the biggest advantage you could have when you own it, it could surprise you any day having a $1,000-$2000 price difference in a day in a bullish market, therefore my 70% vote would go for buying bitcoin than Ethereum.

'

As I checked them both in the price at the coinmarketcap they're the same increased since yesterday, when bitcoin last week got dumped its price Ethereum pumped it price and yesterday bitcoin got increased in the market then Eth got increased more again which so  far was 191$ so I think I buy them both so that I could get double profit in my opinion.

If you think to buy bitcoin or ethereum you should buy both. With different purposes and different concepts they are making their own paths. In the past 10 years when we look at the price bitcoin is much better investment, but if we look at development and technology, bitcoin and ethereum have so many differences. I don`t see bitcoin and ethereum as competitors, they both have their own ways. What that has with price in long run? Nobody can predict the future, nobody can say what will happen in the future. Ethereum has more use cases then bitcoin, maybe that will have some effects on the price in the future, who can tell.
I have both, and when I get into some new investment in some alt, I compare that alt either with bitcoin or ethereum, cause other alts can be compared with one of this two, but you can`t compare bitcoin and ethereum.

agree. if you think too much about which is better, it will be difficult to determine that. in general, we know that the two coins have the potential for the future to develop even better. if you focus on one of them,  we will be confused to determine it. so far, I also have both coins. looking at this time, I think the two coins always develop together.

Bitcoin is the ruler of crypto market and ethereum is the best follower of bitcoin. It has similar properties pumping and dumping as that of bitcoin. There is no doubt in this fact that both are having amazing volume among all other coins and are most of the times competing with each other. Wise investors try to hold both coins.

I'll put 70% investment in Bitcoin and 30% to ETH. May it sound fair to them?
These "buy this or that" threads tend to drive me batty, but these days it's actually a good question as to whether ETH is a better value, i.e., has more upside potential, than bitcoin--and I'm honestly on the fence about it.  70% into bitcoin seems just a wee bit excessive to me, because I think ETH might be the better buy at this point.  Maybe I'd do a 50/50 mix if I had about $1000 to invest in crypto and had to choose.

Then again, it's entirely possible that both coins will increase in tandem and it might not matter all that much which one you buy.  What I'm fairly sure of is that both bitcoin and ETH are going to be two of only a handful of winners in the crypto space come 10, 20 years from  now.  Most of the rest of them will eventually lose traction and their communities and ultimately their value.  You have to pick the winners early on if you're a long-term investor.

both are types of potential coins that can be used as recommendations for investing. so far the prices of both have always decreased after experiencing a slight increase, therefore we must take advantage of the market price situation of these two types of coins and can apply both of them to be used as a form of long-term investment that can provide large profits in the future.

Ethereum is the only altcoin which has been able to successfully follow bitcoin during pumps and dumps. It has also good volume like the king of crypto currencies. I always say that ethereum is the only altcoin which veterans buy along with bitcoin to increase their chances of profit. Bitcoin is right now offering holders great opportunity to buyers.

IMHO ethereum is underestimated compared to BTC. Although I see drop of ethereum to 130$ in usdt pair, but compared to btc potential for growth is like 2x or even more!
So I think that each of you can buy a small stack of ethereum and hold. Remember that times when eth was around 0.1 btc, history can repeat

Bitcoin and Ethereum are the best and most trusted coins for investing among other coins, and I will choose both to invest in the long run.
and I don't hesitate to invest both, and when the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum goes down and that's my chance to buy it and hold it back to sell it when Bitcoin and Etherum go back up even though I have to wait a long time.
because when both of them decline and in the next few months there will definitely be an increase again.

Honestly even if bitcoin is now at the low price value. I will still choose bitcoin rather than eth because all we know that bitcoin is better and more fast moving coin than eth. I am not against at eth but I can see that bitcoin can be our future universal coin because on it's popularity and good background and history.
