Everything has good or bad. Cryptocurrency has too. I think Investing in cryptocurrency by taking loan or using your earnings is not good way to earn cryptocurrency. Because you may lose all of your money or anything can happen to your account and you will not be able to access your money.
What you can do is, you can do some extra small works and get paid through bitcoin. It neither affects your's earning and neither you have to take a loan. It is just your extra income

Many of people who invest in crypto by relying on their savings for years and eventually lost, there are even those who invest with money from loans from banks and there is no return and they lose. Its very risky to the point that it will give you stress everytime you see its price dropping. Investing in crypto is different from investing in other type of investment. Everything related to the name of investment carries risk and what you face is profit or loss, especially if you invest money from a loan or fully use your income to invest it is riskier, unless you are rich or have lots of money.
I invest from the rest of my budget for the 1 month needs that I get from my salary, and I do it in stages even though it is small but will gradually become large and I use long-term investment methods to avoid worries and so far there are no problems.

Don't get me wrong, I am interested in Bitcoin, that's why I am here in the first place. I'm just giving the lad a piece of advice. You see if you have a job/work, it's very obvious that you need money to maintain that job/work. And on top of that, you probably have responsibilities (other than yourself), a family per se. So, every time you receive your payment/cut, it is already designated to the necessities and responsibilities. You're lucky to have extra, and that'll probably go to either deposit in the bank or just a flat "savings". That's why I told him to not use the money "he can't lose". Investment is a risk, you should be at least aware of such investment (Bitcoin). No one can guarantee an investment. So, probably his only option is to whether use the deposited money from the bank or the flat savings.

Not knowing in what you investing in is the highest risk of most of the investors in cryptocurrencies. They simply hear about a project and they start to trow money and after a while they panic sell because they didn't have profits and they are not rich in 2 months.

Another risk would be trowing a big amount if money in ICO's just because you like the project and the name ( I know a lot of cases ) and they loose everything, so invest only what you can afford to loose.

The 3rd risk and not the last would be to invest when the bull run is full progress and for sure you will loose a big proportion of your investments after the run is over and the bear market start to take over so make sure you do researches and study the markets and periods before you invest in anything regarding cryptocurrencies. Also don't put all your hope into altcoins.

Investing in cryptocurrency is very risky because the market is very unpredictable and we can't really predict what will be the price thus it is very important that when you invest, only use the money that you can afford to lose. Well, it is true that in cryptocurrency you can profit big depending on what coin you invest to but it also require luck when it cones to the price, sometimes the price is way to low for others that they tend lose faith in crypto. For me, despite it's volatility crypto is one of the investments that is worst the risk and effort.
