Time to buy Bitcoin?

Seems like bitcoin will go down hard before it goes up to 20k. Maybe some people are waiting for the $7000  price before they buy and hold till the last month of the year.

I agree with you that it's hard to reach the price of 20000$ and many people scared that bitcoin might fall again and it may hit the price of 5000$ or 7000$. And, if this thing happens we many people will use this time to buy. Few days left till the last quarter of the year and we know that the last quarter is the most waiting quarter of the year where we can see a green market and the huge price of different cryptocurrency. I would rather to use this time to buy bitcoin than keep my money in my wallet.

If you spend $10k all at once then you may end up losing money (you can profit as well) but if you just spend $1k each month for 10 months you can have a decent average, doesn't matter if it goes up or down, you will be closer to whatever the price is right now compared to person who got all in. That is why I keep making bitcoins all the time and spending some of it and saving some of it every single month, I had times where I cashed out at $20k, I had times where I cashed out at $3k, I had times I got paid at $20k, I got times I got paid in $3k.

Hence, it makes like a decent average where you are never too far away from the most recent price.

I am a big advocate of monthly SIPs but it is important to remember, even if you invest in a SIP format, your investment won't be safe in the crypto market for long. Especially due to the heavy swings that comes with this space. So there is no alternative, at least in my mind, other than being an active investor, moving your funds around from one asset to another. A successful trader manages his money, or hires someone to manage his money in exactly the same fashion.

And this is not only limited to traders, many wealthy European and middle eastern households frequently employ these money management consultancy firms to handle and safeguard huge fortune that might have been accumulated over centuries.

Yep, which is why there's been so much selling as of late.  Not sure what the fear is about, but there's been a lot of talk on the forum about an impending financial crisis and so forth, so perhaps the big-money players know something the rest of us don't.  And precious metals have been inching upward, which is usually a sign that bad times are coming.

But despite that, it could just be the usual volatility for bitcoin--this has *only* been about a 20% drop we've seen, though it did happen very quickly.  It could have been worse and might yet be, but none of us know.  I do think bitcoin is going to rebound, however, and I also think this is an excellent buying opportunity for those who have strong stomachs.  I've done all the buying I'm going to do for a while, and it hasn't been that much.  But I do believe in bitcoin and think it'll get back above $10k fairly soon.  For now I'm just hodling.

In crypto?  I'm familiar with SIPs in the stock market but not with bitcoin--I'm sure you can do it, but man....you have to have some serious risk tolerance to do that, and it would help if you're young and can recover if you lose everything.

Bitcoin does not follow the last year patterns otherwise he see bull run every year in December.
I do not believe that bitcoin can go below 7K and even it does, it will not stay long below 7K. I think people realize that bitcoin halving can be the big factor for the bitcoin price to constantly moving up.

I wish the price do not go below $7k. But none is assured in crypto. I would say, this would the best to buy now. We have almost dropped down more than 40% from $13k to $7.8k. We may see pump back to $9 in 2 to 3 days. Lets see what happens.

Well, the winter is coming and you know that most pullbacks happening during winter, right? Or maybe i could be wrong but this is what happens in the previous years, so the possibility is still quite possible. I wouldn't expect a comeback of $10k during this dip Bitcoin might start to become stable at $8k with a minimum low of $5k and maximum of $10k.

With the open for Monday and going into the next six hours, if we dont see a significant progression from last week then we could see some reversal that means price rises upwards as further selling becomes frustrated.   This is only the short term perspective but its often the case that the waves can move differently to the tides or momentum across various time periods all of which take greater time to shift their weight.

   The blue line here is the 8 day average which seems to be sticking to the price, while it is above we are still negative it has not moved especially and I think a break attempt can occur and a move up be triggered.

It will go down below than $8k, and maybe we will see a low price again this time. But I don't expect the price to go lower than $7500 because that will make a panic at the market. Yes, bitcoin needs to bounce back to $9k, but it seems, it's too difficult to break the higher price so maybe we need to calm down for a while. Meanwhile, prepare yourself for another downtrend if it's really happening later.

Indeed, the bitcoin price is down currently so it's a good idea to buy now. There's saying, buy low and sell high. If you are looking for short term profits, I think that's a good idea. And still if you want to HODL for long periods like 5-10 years buying cheaper coins is a good idea too.

Well I agree to disagree with you. Psychological level 7500 - 8000 dollars is pretty strong and if we managed to hold this than we can expect to start climbing back up to $20k

Fear wasn’t part of crypto investments because all we have here is speculative and a risk so being tough is one important thing together with trust on our crypto’s that in future will brings us profit
I don’t want to invest because I read some articles and Technical Analysis but I will invest because I have studied and make a research about such crypto’s but in regards to Bitcoin it’s always been a win win situation for me as I have seen for years the growth and fall of this currency and with that scenarios I am surrendered believe that I will gain in future

I appreciate your opinion but no one knows what exactly it will happen tomorrow, investing in BTC is like a pure gold. Also you cannot expect a big return in a real quick time, patience plays a vital role here. Even the professional traders and experts doesn't know what will happen in future there is no any hidden secrets in BTC. Trust me this coin is very powerful and a precious gem just buy it and wait for your day.

So we now have good news, from the chart yesterday, today the price can increase up to $8400, so that is a big increase in the price for a short time. If it continues, then we will see the price increase higher. But it seems, the price will stay for at $8200-$8400 for a while and then we don't know what next to will happens. The bitcoin still not moving fast to the higher price and the order buy and sell at the market is not moving too, only the price changes and I am sure that is the bot that moves the price.

We are still in the critical moment which bitcoin price can go down again, or if any supports come, the price can increase higher. We could expect that something will happen in this week, and it could push the price to rise again.
