It's a matter of good decision making whenever you are trying to place your position. Good traders analyze the situation whether is good for short medium or long holding process. Remember that there's scalpers around and this type of traders always find a way to benefits whatever the direction Bitcoin is heading. If you are good with analyzing, you will be able to place your order in it's profitable place.

@barota these are normal fluctuations but I feel we’re in accumulation phase, and we may not see these levels again for a very long time. @Fredomago I believe those traders are buying heavily, and we too should mirror thier strategy and buy bitcoins while their prices are still low.

It is very simple. If you want to hold Bitcoin for 10+ years, it is always a good time to buy BTC now. In a decade it won't matter if you bought at $6k $8k $10k etc.. Low time preference is the key here. But many people don't have that patience as they are just looking for some quick gaines and profits.

If you think bitcoin has a future and in that future bitcoin has a higher price that it's price right now, then just dollar-cost average! May it be weekly, bi-weekly(I prefer this), or monthly. That way, you don't need to rely on technical analyses from people you don't even know if they actually know what they're talking about.

Exactly. If you believe that bitcoin has a future then there's no need to worry when is the right time to buy because even if you buy at a high price if you still got a high return in the future. Basically, I'm just saying is that bitcoin never been stable it always makes a move whether it is pump or takes a dip. Right now, looks like a great time to buy, I am in no way an expert on prices of anything but looking at bitcoin it is literally saying "Yes I fell down a bit but don't worry I am not going any further down" to me, it is a perfect opportunity to make some more profits. People who are too afraid during this type of bull run will never make money, you need to be brave, if you buy and the price falls then you need to buy even more!

I know someone who bought all the way from $20k to $4k and he collected so much bitcoin at the end that he literally was out of cash at one point, then eventually bitcoin hit $10k+ and dude is not raking in cash doesn't know what he will tell to his accountant about the taxes. Yep, because there is no time frame in buying bitcoin. If you feel to buy at this moment then, you can. You should know how to hold in the long term before you buy it. And if you invested from borrowed money that is not advisable too. When you are in buying point just patiently wait at the right time to gain profit, once your profit was there, then, you can now be going to sell.

The potential capabilities of bitcoin cannot be measured, and for such a long time of its dominance towards crypto markets it has been performing amazingly. It will fluctuate whenever the trend goes, depending how it's demand works through buy and sell activities. I agree with you that buying bitcoin is a good thing to do in any time, when ever someone has some money for spending should buy bitcoins and put them on a side. It's investment for the future, or it should be. I don't think that new investors should try to gamble or trade with bitcoins they bought for the first time, they should hold them for years, for some people only long term investing can be profitable, cause everything else require knowledge and skills, but for holding you just need to invest and buy bitcoins put them in some good wallet, and you are good to go, ready for the future. I think that people shouldn't trade or gamble with bitcoins before they put some amount on a side.

So, the key is for the users to keep on the transactions (as what satoshi wanted), not gonna lie it's currently making progress(barely)--to its value that is. But how can we change such a mentality? And also, I'm curious now on whether gambling is correlated/connected to the value changes in Bitcoin, and is it also considered as peer to peer payment?

It is very simple. If you want to hold Bitcoin for 10+ years, it is always a good time to buy BTC now. In a decade it won't matter if you bought at $6k $8k $10k etc.. Low time preference is the key here. But many people don't have that patience as they are just looking for some quick gaines and profits.

But there are not many people that are going to want to have their money invested in bitcoin for 10 years, I know there are some investors like that but those are the minority and while they could be fine at buying bitcoin at any price everyone else is not going to be fine with that, most investors will be interested in being invested in bitcoin for some months or maybe a year which is why they need to time the moment they enter the market and buy bitcoin when its value is relatively low.

I guess he is late to buy bitcoin in a few days ago because in September, bitcoin price shows the reducing of the price. So that will be his great time to buy bitcoin and hold it for a while.

Look at the chart, and he has at least 5 times to buy bitcoin at the lowest price



But that will not a big problem if he cannot buys bitcoin at that price because if his purposes to purchase bitcoin are for the investment, he will not bother that.

My suggestion is he still needs to search different prices to buy bitcoin so he can reduce the average rate of the buy price. That will help him to calculate how much profit he can make. But don't greedy, because that will make you lose the chance to make a profit.

A lot of people maybe have their strategy to earn bitcoin, only a little from new people will look information about the forum. In my local facebook group, a lot of people ask cloud mining which is still paying, actually maybe they know it is risky but they want instant money from it.

Well to pathetic for that guys to still look after the cloud mining services since it has so many scam events happen and we cannot even deny that almost all of them turns scams when they accumulate more funds. the world of cryptocurrency, especially the price of bitcoin is very difficult to guess even though there are many out there who have knowledge about charts / trading and even then not necessarily 100% correct, if I was told to rate then I gave them 99%. I believe bitcoin will go to the moon and I also believe bitcoin will go down, nobody knows, but you can buy bitcoin from now if you are sure that the next few months / years bitcoin will go to the moon.
