it is not dominance but with the way sometimes they create large number of shitcoins each of which have unimaginable supplies in the trillions and thousands of trillions, it is easy to create fake market cap and bitcoin with only 18-19 million will end up having a smaller percentage.

Anyway, he might've been right on the first few, but who's to say that this "prediction" is 100% accurate? Take note that the goal of $16,000 in October, bitcoin pretty much needs to double in price with it's current price of $8,400. While it's very unlikely in my opinion and I really doubt it, it's really not that impossible. Remember, we're talking about bitcoin, which exceeded our expectations in the end of 2017.

I do believe in the previous months that the chart is showing some kind of bullish promise but let us live in reality that not all prediction are true. But even though we did not meet such huge value or we will not hit our expected 20k$ value or more this December what is important is that bitcoin recovers from 3k$+ to 10k$ before it dropped to 8k$. the cost of mining it needs to be up near those area's.

no one can predict the rare one time spikes of hype speculation ATH price points. as they are random and speculative.

so ignoring random spikes of speculation to cause a rare event of a ATH reaching the number.. and instead think about the underlying VALUE where the price refuses to go below a certain point bcause its stable VALUE is atleast the number.. involves having the majority of the community not wanting to sell below that point. which is done over time of not being able to offer cheaper prices via mining and via the majority of traders already selling off cheap where the new buyers set their limits at new levels.

think of it this way. if people can profitably mine. they wouldnt buy coins but instead invest into mining and sell a portion of the rewards to get returns and keep the profits. by there being less buyers and more sellers the price wont rise.
this is why when mining cost just a few $100's but the price spikd to over $1000 in 2013 it didnt last long. hense why we should ignore stats about temporary spikes.

but to have the stable point where prices dont go below say $16k. it has to be a time where majority of traders refuse to sell for less and mining is not profitable to sell for less. thus giving a nice $16k resistance.
my research into this stuff has shown that the hashrate needs to near double todays rate just to give good support for a $16k value

I really not understand what you mean by this question. The chart is just a representation of the market value of a currency over time. This can be adjusted from a couple of hours to a couple of months.
People interpret the charts uniquely and based on their own analysis. It's a prediction, not a certain type or a prophecy.

to be honest these numbers look good but at the same time look like the guess-works that people use to throw numbers at each other and call it "speculation" and it works both ways, it is not always them guessing doomsday and drops!

the trend line these numbers form are very similar to the data we had in the past if you extrapolate it to today which is why i said it looks good but again you can't use the past to predict the future. bitcoin today is growing so much faster compared to bitcoin in the past like 4 years ago when it was getting ready for the big rise to the new ATH like it is today. so we can't expect the same rate here too.

But can't say that there is a same scenario here because do you remember what was reaction when people were saying bitcoin will reach 20k when price was even 600$? And remember how soon that happened? This man's prediction doesn't sound illogical, I think there is high chance that will happen in near future plus if we consider the fact that we have upcoming halving which will hit soon, this was also one of the major factor which lead bitcoin's price to rise from 600$ to 20K usd, old halving caused very positive feelings among people and hope we will see the same in near future too, otherwise it's not even possible I think.

They say that the charts never lie but the charts have actually failed several other times. So in a way, the charts do lie.
We cannot completely depend on it and make predictions on arbitrary numbers. $16k for October is not an easy target considering the recent fall in the price of bitcoin.
There are good chances that the price might fall further down and if it does then $16k would just be a dream in October. I think it will at least take a few months until we reach $16k target.

How is it going to reach 1.5 trillions in market cap? we need bitcoin adoption and people start exchanging fiat currencies and buy bitcoin. Without real cases we are not going to reach this level of prices.

Well the chart never lie, it is the record of the Cryptocurrency trading history in day to day basis but the problem is the interpretation of those who read this chart.  In short, those TA analys, speculators and people who love to shout out their predictions.  The thing is, no one knows what will happen in the future, it is up to someone to believe these predictions and speculation which we know that lots of them failed to come true.  I am optimistic about Bitcoin but I guess hte price range is quite unrealistic. Thank you for sharing this great speculation, at least it is better to dream of some of these values than to listen to those that are creating panic fud news. Looking at the summary of chart that you have here, I think that it is glaring that we will soon head for a very big boom in the value of bitcoin and if bitcoin can really get to that $16000 by next month, this will really be another mile in the journey of bitcoin and even if we will later drop, it means that we cannot drop below $13000 then.

It can very well happen but price prediction to an actual month/year is quite difficult.  If bitcoin is ~$80k by next year I think there is no way btc dominance is under 50%.  Alts might spike with btc but the alt caps have to more than 10x on average, that's a tall task for the entire market

I do not think this price chart is realistic. October is about to start and bitcoin prices have no chance to reach 16,000$ even by the end of October.

It can very well happen but price prediction to an actual month/year is quite difficult.  If bitcoin is ~$80k by next year I think there is no way btc dominance is under 50%.  Alts might spike with btc but the alt caps have to more than 10x on average, that's a tall task for the entire market

I don't think of its reality. We seem to drop by at $9k below and we are targeted for $16k next month it is really hard to happen. Even though I am an optimistic person but I can't see that we make it next month even the market will rally back then. We will just be lucky if we could make a move at $10k next month.

It is only for prediction so some time it will possible in crypto market. But we never believe this chart because only few days left for next month. Making those kind of precise predictions is impossible and if anyone got their predictions right you can be sure that they were just lucky, it seems to me that many people are expecting a substantial growth in the price of bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies during 2020 and it is precisely that which makes me doubtful that it will happen, because as we know only a minority of investors in the market can make profits and if everyone expects to get those profits in 2020 most likely the opposite will happen.

This was actually posted on 4chan during the bear market sometime last year. So far the prediction was fairly reliable. Now its possible for Oct 2019 to hit $16K, there were days when we had +20% days. So it seems doable however the other predictions are far fetched.

I don't think its possible to go from $29K to $56K in 6 months or from $56K to $87K in as little as 4 months. People need to realize that for price to hit those levels there needs to be massive adoption. Someone needs to buy your BTC you are selling and I don't think too many people would want to pay close to $100K for a single bitcoin, especially in about a year or so since in a few months the year will be over.

I see someone post this on his facebook, and in this forum i see a lot of people talk about this. I think something like this is ok to predicted. But if wrong, maybe we can't blame who predict this because he not force us to buy bitcoin. But spread information thing like this i think is worth to do.

From my learning anything far big from the production cost or mining cost is a pure bubble. We will have such big marginal growth, but that won't last for a longer time period. The demand and supply will be one that making a big change in the market price apart from the production cost. When the usage increases surely the mining power required will also increase, and this gets reflected on the production cost increase. This way the price will reach certain level through this mutual rise, and beyond that will be a bubble.

Well, it's up to you to believe someone else speculation or leave over it and believe to what you believe because you will have your own speculation IMO. Being an investor must have a boldness to make a decision and it would be good if you make your prediction by yourself be compare to believe what other people says.

It can very well happen but price prediction to an actual month/year is quite difficult.  If bitcoin is ~$80k by next year I think there is no way btc dominance is under 50%.  Alts might spike with btc but the alt caps have to more than 10x on average, that's a tall task for the entire market

Well this looks like it won't work as we are already in October. The predictions might work after few years but the current market situation is complicated and a lot of investors are desperately waiting to see a big change although we had a  bad market last year. So let's not panic investors hodl your asset till the value reaches it peak.

I also expect price increase by the end of the year, and the future halving will have an impact. It depends on how psychology analyzes innovations so there is a need for innovation that can affect everyone's psyhology. This was actually posted on 4chan during the bear market sometime last year. So far the prediction was fairly reliable. Now its possible for Oct 2019 to hit $16K, there were days when we had +20% days. So it seems doable however the other predictions are far fetched.

I don't think its possible to go from $29K to $56K in 6 months or from $56K to $87K in as little as 4 months. People need to realize that for price to hit those levels there needs to be massive adoption. Someone needs to buy your BTC you are selling and I don't think too many people would want to pay close to $100K for a single bitcoin, especially in about a year or so since in a few months the year will be over.

People believe this kind of predictions because they do not really understand how the market works, they believe the price will always go up and that there is not a limit to the price bitcoin can reach and that is not true, the price will only go as far as people are willing to pay for each coin and for that number to go up we need the adoption levels to grow significantly and that is not something that can happen overnight, it will probably take years or even decades before we can reach a price close to 100k.

It seems that the price for this October is quite high and by looking on the price we have now is not evem close however, we have been experience the suprise price surge a yearn ago so it is not impossible though. We can achieve that price but I think not this month, probably November or before the end of the year. This is not Technical Analysis. This is random prediction made on the basis of single trend. People usually take at least 2 trends to form a graph line however, three Is preferred. But in this case there is only one trend i.e. 73% rise from $5.2K to $9.2K. The article you stating has made predictions for October, Feb, July and Nov on the basis of just single data! This is entirely wrong. I would have believed the prediction more if atleast 4 of the above have already been happened.

I think it's better if you display a chart or graph where you have created this thesis of bitcoin going to 80k because as far as i know no technical analysis is able to predict 4x price of the All time high. I think this is more of a emotional based analysis based on the past trend of percentage increase but I think this wouldn't be possible because their was a sudden surge during 2017 due to ICO boom which might never be possible again.

Mate, it is easier to predict what will happen to a coin in future than to even predict what will happen to them in an hour, speculating coins hourly will involve the use of technical analysis, but for long term, you could easily watch out for fundamentals that would point you to the direction of bitcoin in future.

The issue with predictions such as this is that the further you go to the future the less reliable the prediction becomes, besides such predictions are useless, if someone could predict with a high degree of accuracy what the market was going to do during the next hour I can guarantee you that person will become very quickly one of the richest person in the world, but no one can do that, and if no one can predict what the market will do in just an hour what makes you think someone can predict what the market will do months or years later?

Mate, it is easier to predict what will happen to a coin in future than to even predict what will happen to them in an hour, speculating coins hourly will involve the use of technical analysis, but for long term, you could easily watch out for fundamentals that would point you to the direction of bitcoin in future.

It is true that fundamentals can be used to more or less tell you the direction the market could take, but fundamentals are not going to tell you when that movement is going to begin, how big the movement is going to be, it will not tell you if the market will temporarily go in the opposite direction, it will not tell you the top or the bottom and it can certainly not tell you what events are going to transpire around the world that will affect the value of a coin, as you can see predicting the price of a coin over a long period of time is still incredibly difficult.

This is one of the ugliest realities of the markets that many do not want to acknowledge, it is very easy to be a trader or an investor when the market is going up all the time, at that point everyone looks like they are a bunch of geniuses due to their profits, but it is when the markets go down when you can tell the difference between the good traders and the bad ones, the bad traders lose most of their profits and some of them even lose an important part of their capital, while the good traders still lose money but not as much, both traders lost money but the difference is in the magnitude of the losses.

It’s true that every prediction is not realistic but I think everybody here hope for the best because they have invested a good part of their funds so they do not want any loss, and talking about the price prediction I think the price of Bitcoin has faced many dump in last months, now it is again on its way to up, so at the end of this year the price of Bitcoin must be above $10k.

Now you have a clear answer whether the chart you are having is accurate or not  . If you want to have a consistency in the chart you are preparing you need to have good volume of data to have a probable market situation and that too you cannot claim that to be an accurate assessment and that is not the situation here as there is no way you can get data for more than ten years and that is not sufficient to get a good analysis of the market.

No one could ever predict the exact amount of bitcoin, even if you read an article to the greatest speculator, they will never give you an exact answer for this, once a Speculation, it stays as speculation. You can just hold your bitcoin until the value of it will double. You can make your own chart or make a decision that you will sell your bitcoin on next year or maybe in the year 2024 and if you think that the value is already good even if it is not yet 2024  then sell it as long as you gain profit that you wanted.

As we know bitcoin is so unpredictable in which many users is still hoping that it may increase though there is no distinct time when but it depends on those crypto enthusiasts on how long to extend their patience. As one of the user here, I do believe that it may increase even I don't huge amount to invest but for nowadays is the best time to buy as long as the user can afford to buy a bitcoin.

$600? $10000? I don't understand what you think these amounts mean, but the price of Bitcoin at the beginning was $ and its ATH is $ 20089

Think what people were thinking about in 2011 when the BTC price was $4- $5 when someone said Bitcoin would be worth $20k. I'm sure they reacted with laughter.
It is not surprising that now people also react with laughter when someone says that the price of Bitcoin will be $1M

While the reactions are probably similar the circumstances that will have to surround bitcoin in order to reach those prices are very different, to reach 20000 dollars we only needed a few million users around the world but if at some point in the future bitcoin is to reach one million dollars we will probably need hundreds of millions of people or maybe even a billion people to use bitcoin and that is going to be many times harder than what we have reached so far.
