OP is looking forward for wagering contests with short time period like that which ends within a day or within few hours. Windice wagering contest has 3 days timeframe. Otherwise there is Yolodice also who is holding a wagering contest of prize pool of 1 BTC + 50% of BTC site profit makes during the competition.

I just check the site, turn out I have an account there, thanks for the info. The race runs for 3 days, do they have a wagering contest every 3 days or this is just a one-time event?

Yes they do. Currently the prize pool is near 1.35 BTC with 1st place prize of 0.4 BTC around. The wagering contest is being paid upto 30 spots so it's a good one to try atleast.

They don't start the wagering contest regularly but whenever they do they announce it through newsletter and their wagering contest prizes are usually tempting.

I got message on my registered Gmail account on them that they had a wagering contest, but this is only for full-time gamblers because I can't join due to fully loaded work in real life. So far,  as far as I know on Windice thread here, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5116500 this is the first contest(correct me if am wrong). Good to see if Windice gambling site is being apart on your list that having wagering contest.

Stake, primedice, Bitsler, wolfbet, were the casino that offer regular contests. Apart from this Onehash, Windice, used to conduct special contests. This takes place on Sunday, majority of the contests winners were based on the top wagering within specific time period.

I've been using DuckDice recently (https://duckdice.io/), and they've also got a wagering contest running daily which you can access by clicking here. There's a bunch of rules in effect that determine whether or not your dice rolls are valid and count towards your total amount for the daily wagering contest (all rules at the bottom of the page of the previous hyperlink), but it doesn't seem to be anything too out of the ordinary at a first glance. It does seem like the site only runs a daily contest and none for any other timeframes or events, though.

Bitsler is a gambling site that provides regular wagering contests, (daily, weekly and the special one). The more we bet on bitsler, the greater the chance to enter into the leaderboard and get a good prize. There is also chests that can be claimed after we reach new levels. The higher the level, the higher the chance to get chests with the good prizes. Frankly, there are still many opportunities we can get from bitsler like bitslercoin contest,  cashback and so forth. I think what gamblers need is already offered by bitsler, no need to look for the other one! Cool

The 0.3btc is not once event or weekly but it an event run base on the windice team decision. They also have daily and weekly special contest either but most contest/promo/giveaways updates are done on their telegram, ANN thread and their personal forum.
I believe windice deserve to be on the list base of their credibility.

  • Windice-started the wagering contest yesterday and it will take up to three days with .3 btc prize pool.

what about freebitco ?  they dont have a wager contest but they have a special contest called golden tickets or lamborghini event where you can win a brand new lambo  .  the mechanics of the game is simple  .  you just have to wagger a certain amount and you can earn a golden ticket ,  those tickets are your entries that will be raffled at thier grand draw and possibly win a lambo car  . the  car cost is pretty expensive and i think its the highest prize ive ever seen in my entire life or when compare to other waggering contest prizes that i saw so far  .

AFAIK, they have a wagering contest weekly. And that Lambo, Golden Ticks are just an added feature... I am still aware that there are tons of gamblers are still playing their MULTIPLY GAME.

Onehash has long been holding daily wagering contest the best place I can land in the top 8, I cannot keep up with the big wagers in this gamblers, it's one of the gambling sites where there are a lot of big wagers, it's one of their biggest attraction so far, so many games daily contest.

I do not know yet, the admin hasn't confirmed whether this only happened once or not. But judging by its duration 3 days, hopefully this takes place every week.

I have read some negative feedback about those first 4 sites especially the two starting with L

Almost all dice sites offers wagering contest but I think it will be better if anyone who are willing to join wagering contest to choose the most reliable sites only such as those mentioned by OP and some other sites like Yolodice and Crypto-games.net that has very good reputation in this gambling industry.

Yeah, dice wagering contest is some kind of a standard at dicing sites. Bitsler, Windice, Duckdice, Crypto-Games.net, Yolodice, OneHash, CyberDice. It goes this way for some time...

You can hide, you can run. But you won't escape it. Wagering contest is practically a must-have in a crypto dice game. Of course, if you want to be competitive.

Onehash and cyberdice are one. Onehash, you can play spprt betting on there and Cyberdice, you can playing dice on there.
Wagering contest, when most of people betting with lowest risk with big bet. It's not a must contest in a gambling site, you can do other promotion to attract people.

All of my suggestion has been mentioned by other people anyway
