Let's just be comfortable with the fact of Bitcoin being the pathfinder for cryptocurrency and continue to console ourselves with that fact, at least for now. Seeking to know if Bitcoin is the future may not readily find an answer now. I mean, we have had great coins in the recent past that have disappeared through thin air. Where is Bytebal for instance? Something can happen that might upstage the Bitcoin dominance and once this happens, other coins might take the lead.

we can confirm that is so. Bitcoin is considered a good value coin and can exist with high value in the long term. but for alts it is always affected by many things and sometimes it will be greatly reduced due to market fluctuations. for bitcoin it is only slightly volatile and more likely to bring regular returns to investors. So we should trust it and hold it from now until the halving event, we will definitely have many rewards.

Okay, in this universe there's no stable, and essentially we can't assume that Bitcoin will be cryptocurrency's future as technology is changing.  In one side, what is now common and most modified will be obsolete in the near future, unless Bitcoin creator keeps up with the advancing technology and has made many changes and enhancements to Bitcoin to remain competitive. Bitcoin itself has many flaws but the good thing about Bitcoin, unlike these altcoin ICO, IEO craze, it doesn't start with crowdfunding, besides being the first decentralised cryptocurrency and widely adopted cryptocurrency.

That's right, we cant assume that bitcoin will be the future of the currency and the cryptocurrency because as time passes by technology around us is evolving day after day in which the technology is so fast on changing in different phases that's why we can't assume that this is probably the future.
Bitcoin right now is one of the trending in the internet world in which it is already become popular due to many of users that are engaging into it and that is the best way we can say that bitcoin right now is good, but until when it will be good enough for us crypto enthusiast? Until the next decade? What if after some years there would be some cryptocurrency that will defeat bitcoin? Then we cannot say that bitcoin is really the future.

As time passing by, the demand of the people into bitcoin is constantly changing. As long as the demand will stay as it is or if the demand will become more higher then there is a bright future waiting for bitcoin. There is no altcoins that can surpass bitcoin, even there are altcoins that have more good characteristics than bitcoin; investors are still choosing to make investment with bitcoin because it is already proven that its value is continuing to rise over time.

to seek certainty in the future may indeed not be possible, so it is better if we indeed confirm the present first because tomorrow we still cannot know. it is realistically better to focus now than to think about a future that is not yet full of certainty, because in the future it is still limited to possibilities.

This conjecture might have not been proved yet but thinking of the fact that if government throws a strong regulation and law concerning the use of cryptocurrency, particularly, to use a single cryptocurrency that is not bitcoin, it will indeed surpass the market price and rank of bitcoin on the top cryptocurrencies worldwide. Because the reason why bitcoin's market price is high is because of the demand of people from it. If an altcoin surpasses that demand and the nature of that particular altcoin is volatile. IEOs didn't get too much attention indeed unlike ICOs who really became a trend and I think probably because IEOs uprises at the bearish market or perhaps, investors lost their trust to invest in this kind of project. Getting back to the question, I think not only Bitcoin will be the hope for the future since there are several altcoins can perform well as Bitcoin such as ETH and more. However, we can't deny the fact that the power of Bitcoin could lead other cryptocurrencies into the future.

the use of bitcoin still outperforms even though it is slow, and its adoption is still favored by bitcoin. bitcoin enthusiasts are still coming from year to year so there is a possibility that in the future bitcoin will exist even though there are many rivals but bitcoin can still survive and grow.

Yes there are really many altcoins in the market and it might even multiply but in the end, you'll probably see only 2% of them survive and the rest would just be dried up and lose its value because they'll be dumped anyway.
Bitcoin will remain as it is. It proved its way not going down to $0 already upon the decade.

Well, we can already conclude that, many attempts to do ICO/IEO and there were projects becomes successful, but after launch they didn't still survive, some other compete with Bitcoin but they failed as well, only Bitcoin remains so far for more than a decade so we can really say that Bitcoin is the future, no matter you will believe or not.

First and foremost, what do you mean by saying bitcoin is the future?  I have realized that a lot of people in the crypto space do not really understand and know what cryptocurrencies are and the technologies behind some of these crypto coins. In as much that there are a lot of altcoins in the market does not mean all of them a shit. Some of these altcoins have mind blowing technologies which can transform the world if we focus on their technologies rather than the crypto coins.  Bitcoin introduced blockchain technology and altcoins came into existence through blockchain technology. Blockchain technology is rather the future not Bitcoin...

There is no doubt about that because features in hands and data binding friend of things will be achieved through blockchain technology and Bitcoin will be the major currency for all the transaction throughout the world by replacing the US dollar.

Actually I have a totally different strategy. I try to buy and use bitcoins continuously because I think it is the best way to accumulate it and keep this currency growing.

Basically I invest a significant part of my incomes in bitcoins. When I can use fiat currency and bitcoin I choose bitcoin.

To me it is the best way to accumulate bitcoins (those that I don't speed). I don't expose myself too much buying a lot of bitcoin at a given price. obviously it's a basic strategy, I'm not a professional investor.

Personally I see huge potential in bitcoin too. But as what many have mentioned. It's still too early to decide for things. Anyway, whatever comes out on top is always for the better. So we don't have to compete and contrast to see who'll wins. Bitcoin's win pretty much means a win for cryptocurrency too. And if bitcoin ends up being the best coin there is in the future then it will be good news. Otherwise I'm just going to hope for a prosperous cryptocurrency world.

Indirectly, bitcoin is the altcoin reference for making new innovations, every year many new altcoins offer new innovations to cover the weaknesses of bitcoin.
But unfortunately they cannot maintain it consistently and eventually new altcoin competitors will emerge, and so on.
There are only a few altcoins that have survived to date, as you can see from the top list of coinmarketcaps.
So in the end not only is bitcoin the only hope, but there are several altcoins that can be used as alternatives.
