Cryptocurrency is an opportunity to everyone here who have a fine knowledge about in this field of business.
However, the only crypto I would trust for are the one's who are listed at top 50 in the market. And those altcoins that are not
belong to this top coin are just a piece of sh*t to me.

And Picoin is not belong here in this top coin in the crypto space, so no reason for me to try this
as an opportunity here to gain, it is actually a waste of time to spend with.

Doesn't look very promising if you don't set up a pool and tell me to straight download it from the play store.For me this is not professional and bring back memories of how many people were scammed with the Pi network or some bullshit that you could mine with your phone,no one of them was happy and they pretty much make their phone lifespan shorter by doing it.

Whenever I would at least try in a sandboxed environment is when the project has much more details rather than you posting an essay as the first post trying to convince me.I wish this is successful but 99.99% I bet it will be not.

It's an outright scam! Avoid at all costs!

Picoin launched around 2017 and is still not listed in any exchanges even though the owners have been claiming to do it for a long time. It also requires full KYC before you are allowed to withdraw the coin. It's free to mine through a mobile app!

Tell me one simple thing - if a coin is so easy to mine through a mobile phone which requires no additional production cost, why on earth anyone will buy it from exchanges?

If possible delete it from your mobile phone because you don't know what kind of data is gathering from your phone!

You will be rarely find dumb people who wasted their internet and electricity to mine that garbage coin. People in here care about their privacy while so many stuped pi miners were giving away their KYC to the garbage po developers lol

Those exchange sites were listing IOU coins. There's no something special about that. The only stupid people who used those scam exchange sites. Be careful. If this is the PI coin that recently fake list on CEX. They are claiming that this token is mineable using mobile phone cpu using there apps. There’s no need to setup the mining pool because there so called apps is connected on it. It’s just a download and mine setup.

This coin is indeed not promising. This was introduced many years ago with fake mining while they are collecting KYC in able to withdraw the mined tokens. This is a scam coin and a waste of time. They are just fooling there blind followers in the early investment story to encourage them to waste energy on mining.

Now a considerable amount of people know about Pi.  They previously knew Pi was a scam.  Now they know the hype.  They probably think it can not be a scam if there was a listing.  It looks like a strategy to wash previous bad reputation away and build a hype.

Why this topic is being discussed which is started way back in 2019? I mean its already outdated and no one cares about the PiCoin. The project has been around since that time but it was already gotten into scam accusations long ago. There are also many threads claiming that KYC information was leaked many times from these projects and they were not able to restore the trust. Yes their software still runs, it still gains the popularity because it is being portrayed in that way. However its always good idea to stay from them considering the fact that they have had bad history since the beginning

Word scam annoys me when it's been used vaguely, so what exactly was the scam part here then? They didn't get their money so was this about user data?

However people should know not to buy anything IOU. Exchanges set the value too high as in that way these exchanges won't make losses when real coins come and they need to provide the actual coins for the speculators.

That's what they're doing, imagine how many years I've been hearing that and I can't deny that there are a lot of people who are crazy about that Pi even though it's clearly a scam and it's just hype, they believe that it has value in the future. How can there be value without exchange and potential?

So until now, it has remained a scam, just investment and events in different places and countries, it seems like Pi's activity is only onecoin.

You are a little confused between these similar coins. As far as I understand, OP writes about PiCoin - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/picoin/markets, which is not actually traded on a cryptocurrency exchange yet. You same write about the Pi network coin - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pinetwork, which recently made a lot of noise after listing on Huobi.
