5 Reasons why I am buying Bitcoin!!

Congratulations that you have something reason to have BTC, many person buy BTC without having personal reasons, they only follow others without have research first and when BTC get crash with price they start to complaint and yelling like kids.

But my in opinion reason 1-5 there is no strong reason that can influence people to buy Bitcoin.

I'm buying Bitcoin because first I know it can provide us with Savings in the future, secondly, I can use it to send money here to our local country and also overseas. Third, I also use bitcoin to buy crypto's that I think has the potential to rise in the future such as Ethereum, Neo, and Eos. And the beauty of it is that we have an exchange here in our country that accepts bitcoin as payment for my monthly billings such as Electricity, Water, Internet, and Cable.

Ok thank you for your input, I will unwillingly type the 5 topics for the reasons I had for buying Bitcoin.

1. I Listed Bitcoin Halving
2. I Mentioned all these Powerful Figures speaking out about Bitcoin (President Trump, Fed Chairman, and Jamie who is the Chairman for JPM and Chase)
3. I mentioned the recent reports on Bitcoin ATMs growth. And Included the chart with the data.
4. I mentioned Facebook Libra coin and some of the big institutions that are onboard.
5. I mentioned the current chart analysis of BTC/USD and how we should buy when everyone is in a panic.

Of the five reasons that you mentioned, points 1, 3, and 5 count to me as valid. The other two, namely: point number 2 and 4 are not significant reasons for me to buy more Bitcoin. The reasons? Well, powerful figures are always saying things and most of the time, they know little or nothing of it. With regard to your fourth point, it does not have anything to do with Bitcoin. It is a different story itself that is big and complicated enough to be settled within itself. The way it progresses though, it looks like we should not even be troubled by it. That might not see the light of day.

I feel something missing on the article because you don't explain the reason you bought bitcoin. I think the reason can be like this:

1. I can make money from bitcoin.
2. I can get benefits from bitcoin by making bitcoin as my investment.
3. I can see bitcoin have a bright future.
4. You say you come from the stock market, so you might explain why you move into the bitcoin market.
5. I want to join with the next bull run like what I saw in 2017.

That is some example of why I buy bitcoin. And if you write that, I think that is about

But perhaps, I am wrong because I see that the reason is like something that why we do that thing.

Sorry but I have to burst the bubble for you that Libra has no effect on the price and it won't be the catalyst if that is what you are thinking.

There is another interesting view;

Libra being paired to Bitcoin on exchanges similar to how USDT and USDC are paired to Bitcoin. It will help to funnel in a whole new flood of capital we didn't have before. In essence, all people have to do is to connect their Libra wallet to Coinbase for example, and the whole KYC/AML procedure is completed in a super quick fashion.

If we ever see Libra become something like USDT and USDC, I'm pretty sure it will have a significant impact on the whole crypto market. It will also help reduce the impact of an implosion of USDT. I see many benefits here.

you are smart. your choice to make bitcoin as investment is very good I myself consider bitcoin is a technology that will be very targeted in the future era. because the total supply is clear and limited and demand is certain to continue to increase the possibility of bitcoin value will always go up later will inevitably occur. all that is needed is patience and certainty before making an investment especially in bitcoin and realize this investment will require a long time with a lot of drama in it.

Imagine it's price before, how it grows in price and the many setbacks and FUD it receive but still here in the market moving. Bitcoin is indeed a good investment. Those years that it only cost a penny and its huge value now. We still have time to own bitcoin especially at it's rate knowing that soon it will be limited in supply and those who buys now and managed to hold it long will sure soon to benefit.

There’s only one reason that I should keep my Bitcoins is that its better than fiat. Money has infinite supply and backed by nothing, Bitcoin has limited supply and can’t be faked and thats what I believe will drive its value.

1) It is not controlled by banks
2) No identity verification needed
3) No court in the world can take away my bitcoins unless I do it myself.
4) Bitcoin is a liquid asset - I can always sell a huge amount of bitcoins.

  First off I just want to say that I absolutely love this forum and its a great feeling knowing that I have somewhere that I can go discuss Bitcoin/Cryptos which other that are not completely clueless about what I am talking about. I value your expertise and I humble myself because I have been learning so much while I am here reading all these posts. With that being said, I made an article on 5 reasons why I am buying Bitcoin that I shared with the public. Many people are using bitcoin and also the other cryptocurrency. We have different reasons why we should buy a bitcoin? Like other people said, this is not controlled by banks so we are not limited on using and withdrawing  money that we earn the money we work on. Bitcoin is a good thing to invest.Also, we are not controlled on using bitcoin because it is separated to the government.

those are the reasons people can see it and its advantages. But how about decentralization and no one manages or develops bitcoin?
Don't you doubt that someday its value will be zero when the economy no longer wants to use bitcoin as the main tool in trading?

You have some valid points there but there is one point that I am not in agreement with, which is the Facebook coin, and I cannot seems to link it to why Facebook coin is motivating you to buy bitcoin, because I am not praying for this coin to survive, yes it will serve as speed for market cap of altcoins, but what of bitcoin, Facebook has millions of people that does not know what cryptocurrency is which means they know nothing about bitcoin.

If Facebook happen to be the one to introduce them to cryptocurrency through their own Libra advert, it means that they will get used to Facebook coin and seeing it like GOD of cryptocurrency as against the one of Bitcoin that should be forever recognized as king, so I fear that this little coin Facebook intends to create will be of a little threat to bitcoin existence.

ATMs don't make the price go up. They allow people to buy much easier but the ATM volume is still very low if you compare it to exchanges.  

Trump could be talking about Bitcoin but he wasn't complimenting it. If anybody thought about buying Bitcoin for the first time they wouldn't do it after hearing what Trump had to say.

Halving is a good point but it can be this first time when it doesn't start a rally because people are waiting for it.

With those points I made you have to look at them with an open/clear mind thinking outside of the box.
The ATMs are rapidly growing and this will make bitcoin more accessible to people who have more difficulty buying bitcoins online. You don't need an ID or address or KYC or NOTHING to use it and buy with just cash. I tried it my self. It was instant. It also means that the Infastructure and the demand is growing...so the growth and demand vs something with very limited supply will hike up the price over time. (this also is better than local bitcoins and Paxful in terms of rates and convenience)

This brings me to Bitcoin halving, even if It does not shoot up the price this time like it always does, its still a win/win in my opinion because I know less coins will be produded afterwards and miners will have less to sell to the market.

As for President Trump and the Federal reserve -  them expressing concerns over Bitcoin and cryptos simply gives me confirmation that it poses a direct threat to their FIAT Currency which is backed by nothing. They will have to find a way soon enough to get onboard.. maybe kill bitcoin and make a new blockchain technology/coin that they will support but have more oversight/control.

Overall, I agree your 5 reasons of why to buy bitcoin. I find it very interesting about the upcoming bitcoin halving event next year. Majority of us are waiting for that moment because the demand and supply will gonna be affectes resulting to price increase.

ok ,,here 5 main reasons why I bought bitcoin

1. I'm sure bitcoin someday will beat gold in the future
2. Bitcoin must be purchased because of fluctuating movements so it can benefit for short-term trading
3. Bitcoin is the strongest and most dominant coin compared to other coins
4. Almost all major countries like America, China, Japan, Korea, Russia, etc. begin pay attention to bitcoin
5. Large companies around the world have begun to look for bitcoin

But the reasons above can be wrong, so for that I still need to be vigilant.
So if something bad happens in the future with bitcoin I can find a solution.

Here's my reason why I love bitcoin:
* I can make money from it.
* Bitcoin has a bright future ahead of it and it can even surpass the gold someday.
* It is decentralize so no one could ever manipulate it.
* I've seen the price surge of bitcoin in the year of 2017, I do believe that it will rise again and I don't want to miss the opportunity.
* Bitcoin is the strongest among all crypto and impossible to die.

Very true fellow. Bitcoin is all-in-one package. Facilitating it’s owner as much as possible. Not only a person can earn huge amount of money by making simple investments, but keeping it and utilizing are also fairly easy tasks. As compare to those bank engagements, bitcoin saves time and hustle of interacting with bank staff in order to be in accordance with policies. Besides, this is the future of money.
