So I can use my US drivers license for KYC? what about address? can I use my US address also? what kind of selfie is required btw?

For foreign customers, please submit your international passport to comply with Philippine regulations.

I'm not sure if US Drivers License will do. Use your passport instead.

However, if you are not comfortable submitting your passport, as I do too, you are one click away to their support portal and you can ask them about your concern. At most of the cases, you can expect an urgent response from them during their office hours (weekdays) (8 am - 5 pm).

....until I have a clear understanding of how Coins.ph and Abra work.

Both works just the same. For reference, check the link given to you above about PH crypto wallets.

To sort these things out, may we know what specific features or concerns you want or something along those lines. Others have their own preferences that might lead you into more confusions.

This here is what worries me! I have no problem sending in some sort of identification, however I am totally uncomfortable with sending my US passport in for verification.

They did not indicated any other foreign's ID but if sending your passport worries you, there's no harm of asking their support. Prolly they haven't mentioned any option for foreign because locals are more of their priority. As suggested by harizen, you can ask their support if there's any other ID that you can send to them for verification.
Other way of contacting them is through their email: help@coins.ph and/or support@coinsph.zendesk.com

Yes you can use coins.ph as your local wallet they are only extending their services with bills payment. You can also store bitcoin, eth. Xrp ltc and other top alts in the market.
That's wrong, they don't accept LTC at the moment.

The list of coins they are accepting are only the following :

1) BTC
2) ETH
3) XRP
4) BCH

No other coins accepted as of the moment.

This should be guided, this list of coins are those which is available from Coins.ph you can store those coins or convert it to Php or to whatever crypto you want and vice versa. Maybe in due time if coins.ph updates again they will bring additional crypto coins to their wallet, right now let's enjoy those top coins both for long and short term holdings.

I am currently in the Phillipines and I want to buy some bitcoins, the offers I see on localbitcoins don't impress me so I am thinking about joining coins.ph, I would like to know if I can use the wallet as a normal bitcoin wallet to send and receive bitcoins? I would really appreciate some advise. Sorry for writing in English, I can't speak the language, I just know a few words. I have translated below.

Before you can use Coins. ph wallet you will need KYC first to use all of its features. Then coins.ph can be used first as a normal wallet. And if you want to buy bitcoin just tap the cash in and you'll have a bar code you'll just show it to the cashier on 7-11 and you will receive your Bitcoin instantly.

Hope this helps you, and welcome to our country hopefully you will have a great experience here.

So far paps, wala pa naman akong nakikitang issue about sa coinsph.

Can you please hold your horses before replying on a certain thread like here? You just literally make a discussion here that is out of topic.

OP can't understand TAGALOG and already inactive for half a month without an update to what happened.

Let's just buried this thread for good. Apology for bumping this and hope this will be the last time.

Yes, it’s literally just the same other popular bitcoin wallet.

Guidelines:
https://support.coins.ph/hc/en-us/categories/202511708-Getting-Started

Yeah, but it has features that are useful. So for me, it's not just a typical na wallet. Actually pwede mo syang gamitin sa iyong daily activities especially sa negosyo. It is a helpful application. But you have to comply KYC/AML procedures.
