We can't tell what will happen if the bull run starts, but if the FOMO kicks in during bull run, then we can see new records of ATH

Not soon I guess, since the market sentiment is turned to bearish.   Probably when  near the time of Bitcoin halving.

Well Bakkt hype had been buried by the sudden crash of the market and you can check this for bakkt specification.  I believe it is an OTC if I am not mistaken.

Bull runs are different in scales and degrees. There are moderate bull runs as there are very aggressive ones. What happened in 2017 was a mixture of positive news, bullish outlook among investors especially institutional ones, great development, and even FOMO. That actually resulted in a state of overbuying. No wonder why the correction after that was also as aggressive as the bull run itself.

What happened this year was also a bull run, when the price of BTC finally broke free from the $3,000 level and went on to make a 2019 ATH at around $14,000.

The price will be going up like 2017, and even more, it will reach the highest price that we ever have seen. Perhaps, it's not the same thing as before because the situations are different now. We don't know when bitcoin price growing, but it will increase at the right time. You need to be patient for that.

And for Bakkt, I don't know because I don't follow the news again, but I am sure that it will give an impact to the price. Well, let's wait and see.

Definitely we cannot experience a  huge bull run for this year since there are lot of issue scare's people a lot and these new the bakkt issue almost wreck the money of the holders, But if halving season comes I surely believe we will gonna experience the same on year 2017 where almost all of us earn more money for the price surge.

I will focus only for halving come. This year maybe i will only earn bitcoin as much as i can and hold it. Not means buy it because i usually trade although sometime get profit and lose, and do bounty campaign. With all of that and do my real job, i think i can hold for 2020 halving. Just stay calm and see to where bitcoin and altcoin price go. Hope altcoin can follow bitcoin price and pumped when bitcoin get pumped.

I like that kind of news but I understand that just because Bitcoin always followed patterns before doesn't mean it will follow patterns again. It WILL happen, I'm sure. But when? I don't think we can realistically think this year or even next year at this rate.

BAKKT is old now in terms of the news you are looking for.
There are also a lot of rumours about the manipulation of Bitcoin using the TETHER (USDT) with some involvement of different big crypto exchanges right now, that issue also could be the reason also for what happened in a parabolic bull run last 2017.

Try also to look at this chart:
If some people are rooting for BAKKT futures, what IF, this BAKKT futures will be the reason why we will experience the very huge lost recently, from around $19,000 and then drop below $4,000 last year.
So, possibly that we can see another scene like what happened when the CME Futures launched around December 2017 ?

The answer is we don't know, big players always dectate the price and we can't do anything about it. I dont expect much about futures trading and ETF's, the market is always unstable even with positive news the impact could be negative.

No news about Bakkt? They've just been all over the news a day or two ago. I even remember the articles poking fun about how only 7 BTC was traded in it's opening day compared to the 5000+ BTC traded when CME futures was first launched. Unfortunately, it's hard to expect a certain entity or company appear in the news everyday.

I don't see how u can invest online from their website so you may have to get in touch with them, probably OTC.

Yes I do feel it this way, Bakkt launched their futures last week and until now they are only $5.8 Million in total for this week.
it is extremely low and it might trigger the price down again, compared to CME last year was around $460 Million this Bakkt is completely a disappointment.
I would not be surprised to see Bitcoin reach $6000 again in next week, the price has started moving down right now.

With the way things are at the moment, considering the market movement. Next bull run won't be same as 2017 where we witnessed an exponential growth in a short period of time. This time, it will gradually build up with positive price movement. By the time people will start saying that bull run has started, it would have already gone a long way in.

On the issue of BAKKT, I don't see any much contribution from that front.  BAKKT can't possibly create the impact CME futures did in 2017.

Bakkt owners should be awared about fact that Cryptocurrency traders are not happy about them at all!!  

The bakkt purpose was to invest USA dollars in Bitcoin and make the price to move up!!


They have not done what we was expecting!

I have only seen a dump of the price of Bitcoin after the launch of Bakkt. Maybe it is some manipulation to buy coins at a cheap price?
I don't really know if the current price is the bottom price or not. I hope it is.

no one knows for sure, but if you look from the  chart beforehand maybe it will happen around 4-5 years from 2017, so maybe it will happen in 2020/2021 or maybe longer / faster it's just a possibility, it could happen or not. And don't expect it to much,just enjoy what happens naturally.

Any Price that goes heavenly up in just a day then is probably FUD or FOMO kicking in man Whales can make some heavy strike on the market so lets say Bullish or bearish is just followed by certain activities of the coin you are holding I think most times after a certain event start successfully bullish start to make way and for bearish is maybe when the event doesnt make an impact

I hope it won't last just a day but to see it keeps moving by then. FUDs are always out there but people had already learned this making such thing that investors are not affected into it.
And talking about the upcoming Bakkt event, it may be we have to forget it and I don't see any positive impact for this. Bakkt will just be consider as a usual event in crypto, nothing to see the importance of this thing.
