I only got to know AgoraDesk two days ago, since I did not notice it, especially since I am very active in the my local board [Arabic], and there is no member of my local section who wears AgoraDesk signature within the signature campaign. I am from an Arab country and I was very happy to find local offers at differential prices, whether for to sale or to purchase bitcoin.

What caught my attention is that when I changed the language of the site to Arabic, the translation appeared to me very poor, as if it had been done using one of the automatic translation programs, or that the browser had done it automatically as well.
Unfortunately, not everyone in my locality is able to use English, and it is likely that most of them have to use Google Translate to enjoy using some services. On this basis, I suggest that the platform have an official announcement in the Arabic section, and that the translation on the site be corrected to facilitate its use for users from an Arabic background. I can help do this if you have the intentions.
I have already started working on translating the official announcement, but I will not be able to publish it without your official approval.

There is a large base of Arab users who will be happy to use AgoraDesk, especially after the closure of both Paxful and localbitcoins.

I agree that the percentage on top of the market price should definitely be there. The best offers always appear on the top of the list, but you still get lost kind of, especially if the prices are displayed in other currencies. And by default they pop up in EUR, at least for me. I don't know about you, but I am used to looking at the BTC price in USD, and don't even like doing conversions into EUR or my local currency.

I've just checked using some different VPN servers and the default value seems to be EUR. I guess they could update this so that the website reads the IP and then adjusts the currency of said IP? Or would it be more privacy invasive?

I checked the homepage using Windscribe VPN and it automatically changes depending on which countries I used. I tried Singapore, Belgium, US, and some other countries and the price changed accordingly (SGD, USD, EUR, etc). Based on this, I do believe they read the IPs of the visitors. Not sure why it doesn't work for you though. Maybe due to your VPN settings?

I believe the site already reads the IP address, at least based on their terms

In addition we automatically gather details of browser types and IP addresses of the users who visit our site.

The site tries to do a good job of changing to the local currencies based on the IP address location, but I noticed that a few locations by VPN providers don't work. For example, on Windscribe, the Turkey free IP address shows USD as the default currency. TOR browser as well leads to similar problems.

Are you using some enhanced security features that might cause that? AgoraDesk has a version with JavaScript and one without it. I think JS can also be used to geolocate someone's device, but I have never given it much thought. Maybe you can try with a more privacy-invasive browser like Chrome to see if it affects anything.

Yup, I have just used a less hardened privacy solution from my end (Edge in this case) and the prices updated accordingly with the VPN location that I was using as soon as I opened the website. Thank you for helping me understanding what was going on...

You're correct, by default we load the trading country based on GeoIP. This can be changed at the footer of the website. The default language is the language of the browser.
