yes, litecoins from a faucet are the same coins. there is no difference. if the faucet really pays you, the transaction will appear on the blockchain as a real transaction.
a faucet is a place where you get a small amount of litecoins or other coins for free. but there are only a few faucets that really pay off coins.

Faucet are reward systems that dispenses rewards in the form of a tiny fraction of coins (in your case Ltc) for visitors to claim at certain time intervals which is paid to your real litecoin address.
Will it appear on the blockchain like a real transaction ?
Yes, if the faucet actually paid you then you should see the transaction and you should eventually receive it on your wallet.

You should be thankful if someone sent you a Litecoin, it will only be real if you will see transaction record in the blockchain.
Because faucets have a similar to giveaways/airdrops, but could you provide the link for Litecoin faucet mate so that we can able to review it before anything.

If someone gives you real faucet litecoin and that means if that was a real litecoin and it's good to hear you gave him your real litecoin address and that makes you can get that litecoin.
You can start to check your address to the litecoin explorer here https://live.blockcypher.com/ltc/
if the guy who has sent litecoin faucet already done and it may appear in your wallet.

It will be appearing in the blockchain/block explorer as a real transaction consider about faucet used the real litecoin as a reward.

No problem with that. As long as you gave a litecoin address, transaction will commence if the sender wants to send you litecoin as well. To understand this easily, your transaction is litecoin to litecoin so there should be no problem.

But if you have given a bitcoin or any other altcoin address then that's the problem. You are confused because of the 'faucet ltc', I think that the source of those litecoins came from a faucet.

Everything is written on the blockchain, so obviously you can see it there.

It will behave like a regular transaction and there's nothing to worry about. (I'm assuming OP is somewhat confuse or some concern).

As someone has posted a block explorer for litecoin already, you can just go in there put your litecoin address and see it for yourself.

If you are talking about litecoin testnet and faucet as such, https://faucet.xblau.com/
Testnet Litecoin and Litecoin are completely different chain and the Testnet Litecoin has no comparable value to Litecoin.
Testnet coins are generally used to test different aspects of the blockchain and distributed without any value.
There are also faucets that distributes the main chain coins but they do it in a tiny amount. You can accumulate and trade them for a value.

Litecoin from faucets are still the real litecoin that we all know unless you received with testnet litecoin wallet, testnet wallet can be found in wallet like coinomi wallet, you should try to share the name of the wallet you are using, for more info you can type your problem into google search engine you will get answers

yes. coins you've get from faucet is a real coins. it has a real blockchain transaction that you can check. don't worry you'll never get ban if you own your wallet. but if you use some 3rd party wallet it maybe questionable to receive small consecutive transaction.

Someone is sending me faucet ltc, but I gave them a real litecoin address,
Faucets from where? There are telegram faucets, websites ltc faucets. And there are some feedbacks if they are legit or not if you still have doubts. Anyhow, I habr tried telegram faucets and yes they send me some ltc when I reach the minimum amount to withdraw it.

Quote

Faucets ltc is still coin and if it is true that they will send it to your ltc address, then there is no problem and you will gonna received it fast. You can traced the transactions and see the confirmations in the blockchain.

There is no different from LTC address used for faucet and real LTC address, both of them are LTC address.
Faucet is a source when a coin can be earned, usually by inputting your coin address and later you will receive the coin.

Litecoin has its own blockchain that records every transactions if you receiving payments from faucets it will reflect on the Litecoin blockchain. I suggest you should try faucets with low threshold to test and shorten time if they are really paying.

Make sure you've reach the payment threshold on the faucet before you start expecting payment from the faucet, some faucets will automatically send rewards to addresses and some must be process manually, which type or what is the name of the faucet you are using?

Looks like he is all happy by now since he never answered again.
Locking this thread will be better if you already found the answer.

Just one last question though.
Did you join into something like paying an amount then they will send you some faucet for rewards from time to time? Something like cloud mining?

It doesn't matter if you provide the original Ltc address to claim the faucet, because the faucet is one site that pays a small amount of coins if we are diligent in doing so. faucet is one of the sites that must be visited for beginners to be able to get coins to be obtained, because this method is the simplest way which of course can make it easy for beginners before plunging further to try other things

There is no hurt to get ltc from faucet, unless you accidentally enter your ltc private key to them then we sure have a problem here.

Will it appear on the blockchain like a real transaction ?
Thanks
Like other people said, if it does really pay you then you can track it through block explorer.

Just one last question though.
Did you join into something like paying an amount then they will send you some faucet for rewards from time to time? Something like cloud mining?
I'm pretty sure it's a faucet that pays you when you have X amount of LTC and then send it to your microwallet like what Faucetbox does.

i think you might have confused "testnet" coins with faucet coins. there is no such thing as "faucet litecoin" the coins aren't different based on where they come from! they are different based on which network they are on. testnet coins are value-less coins that you can get for free and use for testing (if you were a developer for example) and they are on a different network called TestNet. which means if you search for the transaction in a block explorer that is on mainnet (which most of them are) the transaction won't appear.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.
