I would add advise you to add these coins: IOTA, Litecoin, Monero, Stellar, Ethereum, BIP (Minter), DOGE. And BTC of course! Spread your cash more widely, you'll never know what coin will shoot first.

Beats me. Usually with old trolling attempts they'd go for the pity angle, and ask for donations. Or they just wanted to troll and get a rise out of people,  or wanted to denigrate whatever they invested in. I recall at least one or two for Dash, for instance, during the early days (just after a pump, while in dump mode). And there were a number of 'sold my house for btc' threads too ... again, they didn't work so well as troll attempts when btc (or whatever coin) went crazy in 17, which would have made them all millionaires -- if they were telling the truth that is.

As for this thread, no idea what the OP's point is if he didn't actually make that investment. Maybe he wanted folks to point out other coins to invest in instead? Or just thought it was a silly post since it's a huge risk, and wanted to get reactions from people? Seems weird to me, but plenty of odd people on the internet. I can't fathom why they do a lot of things they do.

I think its not a very good decision. Risking your hard asset for crypto is risky. Cause this market is fully volatile and if you don't put your investment in right coin they it will be worse. I respect your decision but still rethink about it.

OP choose these coins for some reasons and that is based on his analysis.

XRP, XEM, and NEO are all good performers in the past and they maintain a good trading volume, during the last 3 years, these XRP and XEM were among the hottest altcoins in the market so OP maybe seeing its undervalued now and could give him great return when it bounce back.

Those coins are scams. I think that Ethereum is the only leading coin.

I don't know at what stage you have invested in those coins because you have chosen a very good coin for investments. It is very good to hold them in the long term instead of the short term because the above-mentioned coins have a very good volume, which means once the market starts recovering we might see huge impact on these coins.

Wow that's a bold move. But I must say that youre out of youre mind. Why selling youre house for such altcoin? Why not bitcoin if youre betting youre fortune with it? Its okay if youre house is just youre asset or investment scheme as well but if its youre only property and betting it all on some alts who are not really good then be careful you might lose youre money. But you have a pretty good choice, plus the amount is nice meaning youre house is good price too.

In my opinion, your XRP is increased to 20% of the number you already have. Even better, if you just focus on BTC as much as 50%. If I may know, why isn't ETH on your investment list?

I am 99% sure that this guys is just trolling or just trying to increase his post count. Or this may be a desperate attempt to get some merit points. That apart, this is not the fist time I am seeing crazy threads like this one here in Bitcointalk. You can check this thread which is 5 years old:

This was slightly more believable and back then the OP claimed that he received BTC648 from the sale (didn't specified whether this was the amount before or after the taxes were deducted). Now let's assume that he received BTC648 after the deduction of the taxes. Back then one Bitcoin was worth around $460 and now the exchange rates stand at $8,200.

So in short this guy received coins worth $300,000 six years ago and the net worth of those coins stands at $5,300,000 now. His last update was in 2016, when he claimed that he is still holding on to all of those coins.
