I think your decision is very risky. If you really want to invest in altcoins then don't put all your money in this. First, try to put some small amount for investment then at least you will not lose more money and the most important thing as this market is so much volatile so you never know when the price will go up or down. So before taking any decision do the market research fully and then buy.

You should have thought this through mate i mean was the investment worth it ? in exchange for your house for god knows those altcoins might dump this year because of the bitcoin's possible bullrun or you should just wait for confirmation for a buy signal in altcoins cause you might bought in their all time highs. I thought that this kind of thing can't be done by a normal person or that they are just saying it for the sake of posting, but in reality I have known a lot of my friends and crypto friends who are really investing a lot because of too hype with the price, with the possible price that they can earn, so they are really investing a lot not because it is a good project, but because they are hoping it will happen.

hype can indeed make people do things out of their minds, sometimes their reasons are because they want to benefit quickly so they do everything they can to get great results. It's really funny to know that there are kinds of people, once they started to know about crypto, they will start to do everything just to buy them, that is why selling a house is a very bad idea just to buy altcoins because once the prices of your altcoins decreases you will start to experience losses and it will take long for you to gain all it back.

What the hell did you just do? You just sold one of your most needed asset and you converted it to crypto coins. I wonder how's your life right now though judging that it was like 2 months since you posted this.
If you're still there and rolling, put majority of your fiat money to Bitcoin then for altcoins just go from top 1 in CMC going downwards. I hope you're doing well after you sold your house though.

I hope for the same as well but it is really difficult for me to believe that someone that does something as drastic as selling his home just to buy and to speculate with altcoins is going to do well, the price of bitcoin is very close to 7000 if we get a closing price below that level it is completely possible that we could see another small crash and if that happens altcoins are going to crash as well and he could easily lose 20% or even 30% of his capital in just a few days.

In my opinion, you should do some research before investing in the coin because of all the coins you hodl, not all will last until the future, so you have to research the coins first. I don't have a good coin recommendation because I'm just a day trader

It's quite a bold move. People really do daring things and go unimaginable lengths for what they believe in. I hope it turns out well for Op just as it turned out well for CZ who sold his house to buy Bitcoin and later opened an exchange worth billion dollar with some of the proceeds

Selling your house to buy altcoins is the worst advice so far on the planet. Please desist from taking such advice again. Selling your house and buying altcoins is very risky because cryptocurrency is highly volatile. My advice to you is to sell when you make profits on those altcoins you buy and divert it to offline assets like the house you just sold.

I think is not the best decision you had made, you never should do it, you should try to buy them from part of your income and not high risk and also you buy only altcoins which is not the best decission, if possible you should buy a new house soon and if you have some profit from the time you buy the altcoins then sell now and buy a house and see after if you have enough to buy some coins. Crypto is not a quick rich scheme.

Very risky move to sell house and invest his money to altcoins, anyway I think he must include bitcoin and ethereum to his portfolio. These two giant coin will give him huge profits once bull run start. I dont understand why he did not include bitcoin and ethereum. You can try to invest some of your money to bitcoin also because we all know that even though the price of bitcoin is going up or down, its price is easy to recover as time goes by so I would suggest that invest some of your money into it. Also, you can try the ETH and Ripple because they are the most trusted coins as of now based on the ranking system of the market.

It is really not a good decision to sell a house in order to just buy altcoins, the risks are too high we should be aware of that. I will only invest the money that I can afford to lose and not the money that I know that I will regret if I lose it. It is also preferable to make investment with bitcoins than in altcoins because the risks are lesser. Buying altcoins is good but we should make sure that we are buying potential altcoins and not the shit ones.
